  1. Fu****g - A. Garfield Heard as a Brave and not a Sun. Paul Snyder - you rat bastard!
  2. Beating on the glass of the pressbox, chanting "Here we go Buffalo, here we go" "Howard...Howard...Howard" etc; just the drunkest ones probably.
  3. October 1973 - rare home MNF game against the Chiefs. Howard Cosell, Dandy Don Meredith and Frank Gifford. O. J., in the days when all his slashing was done on the football field, topped 1,000 yards for the season in the SEVENTH GAME OF THE SEASON. Fergy rarely passed and we beat the Chiefs like a rented mule. The fans abused Howard and it may have been his last visit to Rich Stadium.
  4. Thanks for the compilation. We have risen from the depths of 30-32.
  5. Congratulations to you and your wife. You now have a new center of the universe.
  6. Nice job on the stats - so, will the Bills cover against the 40-whiners?
  7. And why did Kitna throw such a bad pass? Could it be he was running for his life?
  8. The last 5 games, victory was not in doubt in the fourth quarter. How many years did we go through agonizing over a close game that was decided in the last few minutes or plays? How many times did we look away from the TV or change channels quick because we didn't want to see something bad happen, then quick change back? I know I did. We have won the last 5 games by an average of 20 points! Now that Carolina lost, with the exception of the division leaders in the AFC, and the Iggles, the Bills are the hottest team in football and the trendy pick to make the playoffs. CBS ran a poll and the Bills were picked as the team you "would least like to meet" in the playoffs (of the teams that had not already clinched a spot). There is something very 1988 about this team, something about the chemistry that bodes very well for the future.
  9. Exactly - the punt block was the result of a great individual play. Spikes interception - the product of a great rush. Kelsay's interception - we tipped the pass. Johnson's fumble - a great hit. Did you see an INT like the one Favre threw - a gift? Did you see a Cinci runner just drop a ball? While some turnovers are gifts, I didn't see any yesterday.
  10. No problem, allowed me to take a "work break"
  11. I would miss the $5k I had to plunk down for a PSL (Blue Jackets). I would never get to see the Sabres win the Cup (and they may have a chance with the new ownership and what will be the new CBA). I would not miss the style mentioned in other posts, nor the way these guys now take dives like soccer players trying to draw penalties.
  12. Me too - thought it was just playoffs/SB
  13. I have always wondered - what is the attraction of reading in the can? I read at my desk, in a comfortable chair, far from the sounds and smells of the adjoining stalls.
  14. I have read a lot of uncertainty on this board. I for one am not taking this game for granted. Lewis has the Bengals playing hard. What fuels my optimism is how well all 3 units for the Bills have played the last four games. And, there have been no squeakers. However, it we regress, we lose. We can't expect 5-6 turnovers, or an impotent offense, or special teams breakdowns from the Bengals. WE will have to win this game and not depend on the Bengals to lose it.
  15. Agree - always like it better then they are under the radar and the only love they get is from this board.
  16. Keep the players we have on D and we are one speed-rushing DE away from having one freakin' scary defense!
  17. As posted by others, Ralph bailed out Al Davis to keep the Raiders from folding. BTW, anyone hear that douchebag Michaels refer to Jack Kemp as the QB for the Chargers and NEVER mention that he QB'd the Bills to two AFL champoinships?
  18. And the Bengals gave up - what, 48 points and about a zillion yards to the Browns?
