  1. Evans clearly dragged the left toe - even Beer-Dork saw it.
  2. Williamsville is nice. Clarence a little farther out and a little less crowded. There are some nice neighborhoods in Lancaster, where I used to live.
  3. He's a legacy from Harrisburg - we had to take him
  4. Like us after the AFC final against the Raiders in '91, and then after SB 25.
  5. "I've put a bounty on the head of Tim McCracken, he's their coach and chief punk. 100 bucks of my own dough to the first guy who really nails him"
  6. To some extent, we are still living with raised expectations due to the golden years (1988-1996) when we were fortunate enough to have a combination of playing talent, coaching and management that may never be duplicated. In the 44 years of Bills existence, such periods of prosperity have been otherwise infrequent and brief. There were the Saban years - 1964-1966 and 1973-1975, which produced AFL championships and the OJ/Electric Company teams. Ground Chuck and the Joe Ferguson led Bills of 1980-1981. The aforementioned Marv Levy era, and the Wade Phillips teams of 1998 and 1999. The point is, there have been more lean years, and the last 4 are evidence of that. When can we expect more "good times" no one knows for sure. The only certainty is that hope springs eternal and Bills fans are exhibit 1 in that regard.
  7. I too think we should go O-line with our first pick. Nuge is money - Janikowski talent with out his head. 3 for 3 from 50+ so far this year. He would be worth a 3rd if still available.
  8. 31, down from 26 and ahead of 'da Bearss.
  9. You know privately that some of the defensive players are seeing $$ disappear. Most have Pro Bowl incentives in their contracts, and the worse the team record, the less likely any of these guys will see Hawaii, no matter how well the defense does as a unit.
  10. I commend your optimism. I would not put them at #32 personally, but I don't create these polls and I think they were #31 in front of Miami last week with the comments something like "beating Miami does not earn a higher rating"
  11. Get ready to be ranked the #32 team in the league, considering Miami's impressive win over the Rams.
  12. Your logic requires the defense to outscore the offense to be considered successful. I do not agree. Considering the offense handed the ball to the Ravens five times, I believe the defense turned in a "winning" performance. 160 total yards and 13 points given up - 3 on a short field? That's a good defensive performance and one that results in a win if the offense chips in at all.
  13. Tom Donahoe says the Bills are making progress and that the fans need to be patient. Mike Mularkey says that the mistakes are correctable, and that they hope to get things turned around soon. Drew Bledsoe says that he is the Bill's quarterback and will be the Bill's quarterback. Travis Henry had no comment.
  14. How many elite coaches/GM's would have stuck with a QB playing at this level over the last 32 games?
  15. How many elite coaches/GM's would have stuck a QB playing at this level over the last 32 games?
  16. Ego and arrogance will insure that this will never happen. TD opens himself up for too much criticism to replace DB with an off the street free agent no matter how bad Drew plays. Of course, Drew is just a sack away from an injury which would force MM's hand.
  17. In looking forward, instead of back, Arizona comes to town next week fresh off a big win. Holy moly, will the Bills be home dogs to Arizona? What is this - Bizzarro world?
  18. The really cool thing to me is that Frank Reich also pulled off the greatest comeback in Div I college football when he rallied Maryland against U Miami
  19. She is also an "at-will" employee, like poster below wrote, she is SOOL
  20. Same thing happened here in Buckeye Country a few years ago when Andy Katzenmoyer had the nads to ask for Archie Griffin's #45. Being the class person he was Arch said ok. Katzenmoyer was a pud for asking in the first place.
