  1. The first hour of Full Metal Jacket is as intense as anything I have ever seen. Was the first of many film roles for R. Lee Ermey who was cast as the drill instructor and had been one in real life.
  2. Randy Rhnyo, Steve Smear, "Earthquake" Enyart (a Bill).
  3. I second the Mark Hopkins, also the Fairmont. You may get a deal using the priceline.com, etc websites.
  4. "You're gonna pork Marlene Desmond" "Pork, Boone? I anticipate a deeply religious experience." {Otter}
  5. "Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son" [Dean Vernon Wormer]
  6. "Is that a clip-on? -Hey Boone, come here" "50% rayon - nice tie"
  7. NCAA conducted a full investigation and concluded NO violations by OSU. OSU SUSPENDED Clarett when it was determined HE violated NCAA regs. Clarett makes NO NEW allegations against OSU.
  8. We would have a much better chance in the NFC - too many strong teams in the AFC
  9. He could land on his feet with the Columbus (Buffalo) Destroyers - Chris Spielman is the head coach.
  10. It is a raw deal when Lamar Hunt and Al Davis are in and Ralph is not. He as much as anyone is responsible for the success of the AFL, the merger, the tv contract, etc. How many original AFL owners are still around, with the team still in the original city?
  11. Exactly - they met the kid's price. OSU satisfied the NCAA, they owe nothing to ESPN.
  12. And no doubt it will be prominently featured in the next "Jacked-up" segment!
  13. I don't think the play was over and I believe Tucker was right in front of Abraham. Looked to me like he was frustraged that he wasn't making any plays.
  14. Exactly, sort of like we tanked the closer in 1991 and 1992
  15. Although I typically avoid "reality shows", I was flipping through the channels and this one caught my attention. The premise of helping out some people who really deserve it rather than pit morons against each other for money really appealed to me. When they led that 11 yr old blind and autistic boy to his new outdoor swing the smile on his face brought the whole show cast to tears (me too). Here was a family struggling against with tremendous hardships and the 14 yr old serving as his parent's ears and his brother's sight.
