Maybe, but a large part of why they didn’t win that Super Bowl was because they couldn’t get the giants offence off the field, Josh wouldn’t have made any difference in that respect. Maybe he’d have scored more points when on the field though

I mean compared to your average American guy then maybe he’s not what you’d class as fat, but for a professional athlete he undoubtably has a gut. Not saying it’s a bad thing, the majority of DT guys have guts, just that I don’t think doing different training to Joel Romero is the reason he doesn’t have the same 6 pack like Joel as Aaron Donald is also like a Greek God and did football not MMA training

You have a point, although I would say Aaron Donald never looked like Ed and played the same position, being fat doesn’t have to be a prerequisite to play in the trenches, just look at Spencer Brown

I think they let him walk because they didn’t want to pay (rightly) what he would have demanded (and got) in the open market. if he’d been prepared to sign for 3m a year I don’t think he’d have ever left. I also think he wasn’t healthy in his final season with us, and whilst that doesn’t excuse bad route running it also meant he didn’t have a chance to show us the good things he can do (and did in years previous) so people just remember him for being bad which I don’t think is entirely fair

I’m a big MMA fan too, and you sir have been watching the Joe Rogan podcast 😉😂 Joel Romero still looks like a Greek God at 50 or whatever age he is, Ed Oliver looks like fatass Greek philosopher Socrates so I don’t hold on to much hope that he has similar healing genes 😂

Not to mention in his last season he was injured a lot and when he played was banged up. A fully healthy Gabe Davis is an asset to us imo, people talk about his drops but look around at our other WRs, apart from Shakir (who doesn’t appear to be as reliable as he was) there’s no one you feel confident about bringing in a contested catch, Gabe was awesome at it for a year or two, hopefully he’s matured a bit now too

Defence is doing as well as can be expected so far, panthers 3 possessions and only 3 points. Offence really needs to step it up now, feed Cook and some underneath passes to Shakir or Kincaid to hopefully settle Josh down

100% agree, they forced I think 4 punts against Atlanta which should be enough when you have our offense, but the offense has been letting the team down the last couple of games much more than the D. The patriots also punted 4 times, which again should be enough. I still have flashbacks to getting no stops at the rams last season, so I’m happy with 4, the offense needs to do its job better (Joe Brady not helping in that sense by refusing to give Cook the touches he should get)

The PED twins help with run game and our offence can’t be as bad as it’s been the last 2 weeks again, so I’m saying 28-21 bills

I’ve said similar and got lots of downvotes for it 😂 I think we might get 3-4 years which takes him until he’s what, 33? If no Lombardi is forthcoming by then due to usual reasons (Defence, no top tier weapons for him, McD still there coaching scared etc…) then I wouldn’t begrudge him moving on to a west coast team in search of a SB, the rams would fit him perfectly if McVay is still there

All the negativity that our defence will get destroyed because of the Atlanta game, I’m more confident that after a week resting up and with the new guys they’ll be ready to go. It seems to have been forgotten that the defence held Atlanta to 3 points in the second half. Yes the first half was a disaster but they adjusted in the second and forced I think it was 4 punts? If they can do that again on Sunday then we should win comfortably as long as the offense don’t s**t the bed again

The defence was actually good in the second half, gave the ball back to the offense numerous times. We have to get a WR, Josh was lost out there tonight with no decent targets, much as some people think he is he isn’t actually superman and can’t throw it to people who are never open. Without a WR we’ll lose more of these games and struggle to make the playoffs

This is what happens when your GM thinks he’s bigger than the franchise and can do what he wants, and your HC is the same. And Josh has probably played like an MVP for one quarter so far this season (4th v the ravens), he shouldn’t even be mentioned as an MVP candidate
