  1. Yup. I said earlier there's not even a Cornelius Bennett on this team. Where is the Eric Moulds or even a Henry Jones??? Its a good roster with Zero blue chip players outside Allen. Pretty sad
  2. So I worked out after the game. Watched some post game and these are my general thoughts.... In the past 5 elimination games ( 4 vs KC) the bills defense has forced 8 punts. For reference the ravens forced 7 punts in just the AFC championship game last year.... Buffalo went 6 qtrs without forcing a punt from the ravens game to halftime of the AFC championship.... KC scored the most points of the year in this game and had their highest EPA in over a year..... Sean McDermott's defense from 2020- to present has regressed dramatically on 3rd down. From 2 to like 5, to 13th to 19th to 29th..... It's regressing exponentially. I thought from my years of watching football that buffalo had the slightly better team and still lost. Their defense was way more banged up in last year's game and they were worse this year.... This is where I'm at. I obviously think they're a really really good team, they have a great Hof QB. But I'm about 99% sure that they're never going to win a super bowl with McDermott. Too much data is in, and this doesn't mean he's not a good coach. He's just not good enough to win a super bowl. Ppl will look at the regular season success against KC but in reality with such a stark contrast it actually reveals that the KC coaches are doing e much better job at making adjustments when it really matters and that is undeniable now after 4 losses to them in the playoffs.... Obviously I love the team and all the memories we've had as fans watching the bills but I just think it's fair and realistic to put it into perspective. They're not winning a championship with this coach. I think we need to have a conversation about Beane. Not that he's bad but his top picks are middle class and not blue chip. It's a problem.... Lastly I feel like Allen is becoming a tragic hero and it's something I think a lot of bills fans are going to be more upset about as time goes by because ultimately his career is being wasted. I don't think this staff is maximizing his potential and I don't know if he's going to reach his apex with this coach. ( This is in the context of winning championships, not being a really good offense that wins a ***** division) Ultimately I told my Dad a few days ago buffalo has never won this game and this city in a sports sense has never met the moment. They literally invent tragedy and are basically the sports version of the movie state of Grace. It just doesn't feel like it will ever be in the cards.... I don't think Terry pegula is going to do anything and we're going to go down as a longer version of the Warren Moon oilers.... It's the same thing every year. They didn't force a single punt in 6 qtrs in this playoff against the ravens and to halftime of the AFC championship
  3. That's probably true and I hate admitting that. McDermott is a good man and solid coach but we're never winning a championship with him. We just aren't
  4. Btw Allen was pressured on 46% of his drop backs.... It's astonishing he again almost pulled it off. Saying we got out coached is putting it mildy
  5. I hate admitting this but you're probably right. It's a very middle class roster in talent and outside Allen there are zero blue chip players You know what's sad. We probably can't trade him now either for anything
  6. If Sean Payton was our coach in this game and put together the game plan all week What do you think the results would be A better question is what do these past 5 years look like with Sean Payton? One really has to wonder
  7. I'm getting more angry thinking about it. Allen's career is just wasting into oblivion and routinely has NFL films moments just stolen It makes me feel sick
  8. Sean Payton was the realistic move... They missed. So who knows honestly....
  9. KC has always been a step ahead and I'll go to my grave that they actually did get it right with Allen but have really been a couple steps behind from 2020 to the present I wanted Sean Payton so bad. He was our Andy Reid.... Too late now.... This is where I'm at basically.
  10. Mahomes had the turnover... Simultaneously why does mahomes always have wide open players that are schemed open better....
  11. Again why not give the rookie Hardy a chance. The rookie development is too slow here. It's not bad but in today's NFL the rookies have to play
  12. Sean Payton was a contemporary similar to Andy Reid... They didn't do it.... So you tell me. We're in Doug Collins territory and I don't know what path is the way forward. We're turning into the schottenheimer teams and I just don't know if this is the best way to maximize Allen.... The offense as a scheme is always getting out coached in this part of the year.... We don't have the bill Walsh to pair with Allen It's sad to admit but it's true guys... It just is
  13. It's just sad man.
  14. I have no idea but he can't catch anymore and now he can't even get open. He's basically a worse version of Jake kumerow. Cook me because I was dead wrong @Pete @NewEra
  15. It was a solid class with potential but that's seemingly the problem. We don't have any blue chip difference makers around Allen. So it's just whatever
  16. The defense has now forced 8 punts in their last 5 elimination games. For reference the ravens forced 7 punts in just the AFC championship last year.... Again Josh Allen is a tragic hero in a classic film noir and I don't really know what to say. They seemingly are missing just a final piece , maybe a great wr or pass rusher but it also simultaneously feels light years away I told my dad a few days ago before this game ( we were out to eat hanging out) and I told him yeah on paper I think buffalo is slightly better than KC but the only thing holding back confidence is buffalo has never won this type of game in this big of a moment in my entire life. Whether it's vs a great modern dynasty, or winning the Superbowl, the bills and buffalo in general have never won this game. They've never been able to meet the moment. And it's never happened.... Being a Bills fan just feels like watching a dark film noir and you know the character is a hero but is check mated. I don't know. I'm not really in too much pain because I believe they'll be in this game multiple times with Allen but if you're asking me will they ever be champions I just don't know. Why would I think it would happen?
  17. Excellent roster builder and hit on a generational Hof QB. But there's zero blue chip players around Allen. Full stop. And now Allen has turned into this eras tragic hero
  18. Allen is turning into a tragic hero and it's just sad. There's never a Alvin Harper moment, or Chris Jones game vs Cincinnati or anything. And every time it's time to make a play someone lets him down or doesn't even show up... Rousseau, Von, Elam Kincaid, Coleman??? Nothing....
  19. We need 2-3 blue chip players. I don't know how you do that at the end of the first round but it just is what it is. They have to many solid players but no great players around Allen. So IDK Nevermind a Bruce Smith, they don't even have a Cornelius Bennett
  20. Outside Allen and some olineman I just don't see any blue chip players. They're really good but you need a couple stars to take over in these games.... They desperately need a blue chip pass rusher. I mean desperately....
  21. I have defended Kincaid and not only do I admit I was wrong holy smokes was that bad. 2 key drops, Terrible route running, incapable of getting open. He also had a key drop vs the ravens, that would have been a first down.... It's going to be a long off season. Buffalo was the better team but that first half especially on defense was brutal and it basically cost them. The defense is just not good enough. It doesn't have a true game wrecking player and that's just sad in the Allen era. They're going to be in this game again many times but they blew another great opportunity. I'm going to watch a movie and zone out Again cook me about Kincaid. He was brutal
  22. I don't trust ESPN on literally anything. Snyder wasn't a good owner for the football program but I don't believe much else.
  23. 😆😆🤣🤣 No I'm not. Read the scouting reports. Bowers is the number one on a bad team. Again you're confusing volume numbers with skill level I mean they have been a great team for 5 years.... Hyperbole aside
  24. He's off to one of the best starts in NFL history for a te if you project his numbers for when he was hurt this year.... I think he's going to have a big game today so we'll see
  25. I disagree I think Kincaid is the next Kelce
