  1. Dont forget the obvious neutral zone infraction on the 4th and 1 and the fact they let the Chiefs take the 2 minute warning despite it being delay of game.
  2. For way too long this is the case... and If we go into next year with a cobbled Defense that has no game wrecker and passive schemes we will see the same result.
  3. Well they didnt lose cause they were lazy and didnt work hard.. personell issues and coaching let them down...
  4. I think this was a frustration of mine all year... neither had an adequate initial game plan and played into what other teams prepared for. I was happy to see them make adjustments at half time... as our 2nd half generally improved... but the lack of 4 quarters and anticipation in our game plans especially with Babich was very concerning.
  5. Not a huge Worthy fan, I do see him as a bit more gadget than starter... but lack of deep speed was a thing this year for us... so yes I do believe it would have looked a bit different.. Like literally Mack Hollins was your deep threat.. unless you throw a 50/50 ball to Coleman.
  6. as it should be... In some ways if he was back too soon I am glad he got out of the game with that glancing blow... I cant imagine what a serious hit to the head would have done.
  7. I personally would not
  8. Literally every position on Defense needs to be upgraded... Even LB as I have zero faith Milano reinvents his old form. But I am going DE and DL first because I believe a pass rush and bigs DLs that keep OLs off our LBs could have the biggest impact... after that Safety and CB... I have no idea where you go here... I suppose if you keep Douglas (who was not overly impressive to me) you may go Safety... if he doesnt... I have no clue which you prioritize.... probably Corner because you can at least hope Bishop improves... But I would love to see Rapp relegated to back up status... he is a friendly fire missle that routinely knocks out our players... For you old timer hockey fans... anyone remember Eddie Shack and Brian Spinner Spencer.... fair hockey players... but caused utter devastation to anyone near them as well as themselves... thats kinda like Rapp to me...
  9. Amen... losing Benford was really bad... not only because he is one of our best Defensive players but he was replaced by someone who really doesnt belong in the league... then to make up for it by an anemic pass rush... thats disaster... When you combine that with Rapp being out... who is not the greatest safety of all time but still our best... and you have Damar (who is a marginal NFLer as a starter) leading the 2ndary it gets really bad... last thing... our DB injuries are the majority of the time self inflicted... Johnson, Rapp (multiple times) Douglas, Hamiln... even Bernard as a LB were all the result of out of position DBs... running around like Keystone Cop missiles maiming each other... that has got to stop... Yes
  10. Guess people will have different definitions... Disaster to me is 30th in the league in getting off the field on 3rd down, 29th in the league in most first downs given up despite the fact we have an offense that controls the ball like very few others. I agree and did mention personel deficits the lack of a game wrecker killed this team as it made the personel ineffectiveness much more obvious. Quite honestly the lack of over all aggressiveness is concerning unless you are talking about the fact his players were out of position running around like chickens and mostly knocking each other out like keystone cops. The majority of our injuries to DBs were friendly fire... Maybe it is all the players and he is the next coming of Bill Parcells...who knows and not that you are saying that... but i see it as a mess that needs to be fixed. By way I think there is plenty of blame to go around including him and Beane for the drafting and construction of that unit. That being said it's fixable and I am hopeful they show improvement next year with or without him . But i am not colored impressed by him at all
  11. He could be he won't ever let on i just don't see the seeds of discontent being sown
  12. Well I was encapsulating all of the takes I read on the board that were speculating why he might be upset or have the right to be angry... and simply saying that maybe if he was mad he was probably mad he had a chance to get it done but didnt... if you are asking me how that works I feel like its pretty simple... he is a competitive player... he wants to win ... he didnt get it done... so he is mad... and I think that is better than him being happy... If you are asking me about every other posters take on why he might be mad, I have no idea... I told you why I thought he was upset. He is not the type to blame others and demand changes he tends to look at himself.
  13. I agree here, you gotta know that on fourth and game that you have to have contingencies... we were badly out coached and Brady was pretty bad imo.
  14. Indeed... that is always the way...
  15. He would have made a bigger difference than Coleman thats for sure.
  16. Brown, Claypool, = Pickens... no... just no...
  17. I would totally look at Hendrickson...
  18. Well... if given an option to only fix 1 thing Defense or WR I totally pick Defense it was atrocious... it was predicated on turn overs and holding other teams to FGs... horrible passive plan with the definition of mediocrity on the field... that said... a true vertical threat is a huge need for this team.
  19. despite the obvious cheating by the ref's , the inept coaching, the terrible defense, bad play calling... bad drafting and all of these things that we contribute this loss too... Maybe he is simply mad because he had the ball in his hands with a few minutes left and could have led a game winning drive that ended it all.. and didnt... if I were him thats what I would be mad at... no 13 seconds... no stupid coin flip, no bass missing a FG all with him on the sidelines... the game ended with him having a chance to end the speculation... and it unfortunately didnt happen... I certainly dont want him to be happy... he has to feel as angry as us times 10...
  20. They only count if you would have actually drafted them... 2 out of 3 we had a shot... Jefferson was no way to know he would be there when the trade went down.. but if he was we would have probably taken another mediocre DL that cant disrupt
  21. Skipping opening game too for his re canonization...
  22. As did the Chiefs... no one is afraid of anyone deep in this offense... this is a problem.
  23. It true they said the same things about him as Allen, Raw, High ceiling, boom or bust, etc... that being said... we really do need to stop trading with the Chiefs.. if they want something we should try to stop it... they seem to know what they are doing.
