Kid seems to be overlooked and I get it but I absolutely think there's upside there. Thoughts?

Bills games you’ve never rewatched
KentuckyBillsFan replied to Bills!Win!'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't rewatch any losses but I immediately change it if the 13 second game is even mentioned -
Ross Tucker interview of Michael Hoecht

I still can't believe we gave a decent contract to a guy who we know just got popped for juicing -
Keon Coleman success by route - Not pretty
KentuckyBillsFan replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Coleman legit had flashes before his injury... particularly the games against the Seahawks and Titans. I think there is talent there it just needs a lot of polish if he's going to be worth his draft spot. -
Von Released, Frees Up $8.4M Cap Space

Will Von be on an opening day roster? -
"He got paid"... It was always a horrible contract that never made sense to anyone who was actually familiar with Gabe Davis. I can't believe so many Bills fans apparently want this to happen. Move on.
-
He's not a good football player. His entire career is based off of one game. Please move on Beane.

God no

Yeah I think Keenan Allen still has some juice left but he probably wants more money than we could pay
-
Yeah we should definitely just pass

McDermott's scheme?
-
*whispers into the mic* Our defensive scheme has been just as big if not a bigger issue than our defensive personnel
-
Sports just scrambles people's brains. It's perfectly logical to think we need to upgrade positions on defense and our pass catchers need to be be better. Both groups have let us down repeatedly in big moments.
-
I dk I just have very little faith in this regime to draft true impact players on either side of the ball because they've pretty much failed to do so since they picked Josh Allen. Frankly, I'm tired of this regime and wish we would go a different direction but I know that's not happening so it is what it is.

"Throwing assets at the position" is literally what we've done to the defense for years

Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)
KentuckyBillsFan replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good lord man he's not even in the same realm as Antonio Brown.. Get a grip. -
I'll be honest at this point I'm not interested in what a side of the ball does during the regular season. I'm interested in what happens in the clutch moments of the playoffs.. and we repeatedly have been let down by pass catchers in big moments. I know everything has to be black and white but "Our defense and pass catchers both need to be improved" is a perfectly valid statement

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
KentuckyBillsFan replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
What makes you think the defense won't be a "pathetic sieve come January" when it's literally been that McDermott's entire tenure, no matter how many resources we pour into it? -
I think this whole argument depends on whether you think the players or the scheme are the biggest problem. If you think it's the players then sure it makes sense to draft nothing but defense. If you think it's more the scheme (which I tend to) it's frustrating watching us pour assets down a black hole when we see our pass catchers get exposed in the biggest game of the year every season.

UFL football for those undergoing withdrawal
KentuckyBillsFan replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeahhh I'm not that addicted to football -
Yeah can we pump the brakes? This team is still lacking a truly elite player outside of Josh Allen and this is a critically important draft.
-
Yeah I'm just ready to move on from Hamlin and see what the draft offers at this point. We need more upside players on our defense.

From Myles Garrett and Maxx Crosby to Josh Palmer, Michael Hoecht and Darrynton Evans. Life in the NFL comes at you fast.
