I think the lack of quality secondary players available is WHY you bring someone like an Adams in. Defense isn't going to be bolstered to the point of making much impact, so run with it. Just make sure you score more points... i.e. bring in offensive weapons. Would be ALL for this.

Love the idea especially if cheap (obviously). We aren't going to find much above average help in the secondary. So we need to be ready to go with rush. Who knows what Von's gonna do. Greg with a busted up foot. Floyd had something last game too. One of these guys goes down long term, and we're toast imo. Absolutely would be calling at this point. Absolutely.

Until he starts throwing picks and everyone reverts back to: "Sugar high Josh needs to stop playing hero ball". My thoughts: the defense isn't going to be improved this year. Even the signing of Surtain isn't getting us back to where we were. Bring in serviceable replacements (see: Norman) and roll. You will need the offense to score more to make up for the defense presumably giving up more points (hope i'm wrong). Beane needs to bring another piece in. Perhaps a top receiver to be a second. Issue is what assets do we have? I would look to Epinesa, Elam, and Shakir as trade bait. Picks as well. This team will need to gut a bit and rebuild going into the second phase of Allen's career. We are definitely in a window right now and WON'T be in the upcoming few seasons imo because of that. Time to strike now.

Floyd was a huge huge signing. I followed him in LA. Amazing talent. Long and rangey. Gritty too. was shocked to see we got him when we did.

Everyone that is bitching needs to remember you don't just go out an grab a CB. They're far and few between. And it's not like it's training camp where you can teach system. Norman is familiar with it already. Bills brass don't have a lot of options that make sense.

Norman was pretty good in his prime. This signing just goes to prove GOOD players just aren’t available. This is no slight on Norman. May want to look instead for an offensive piece in order to score more, cause this D is going to get scored on more now.
