Love the idea especially if cheap (obviously). We aren't going to find much above average help in the secondary. So we need to be ready to go with rush. Who knows what Von's gonna do. Even the signing of Surtain isn't getting us back to where we were. Bring in serviceable replacements (see: Norman) and roll. You will need the offense to score more to make up for the defense presumably giving up more points (hope i'm wrong). Beane needs to bring another piece in. Perhaps a top receiver to be a second. Issue is what assets do we have? I would look to Epinesa, Elam, and Shakir as trade bait. Picks as well. This team will need to gut a bit and rebuild going into the second phase of Allen's career. We are definitely in a window right now and WON'T be in the upcoming few seasons imo because of that. Time to strike now.

It’s sucks 4 passes were dropped. it happens. Sometimes it’s a lot. Sometimes it’s one or two. Sometimes it’s the wr. Sometimes it’s the throw. And sometimes drops are rare (see: 48 pts). and drops happen to all teams. It’s more normal than you think and doesn’t mean gut everyone. Dropped balls are part of the game.
