  1. again, you can't get the details right so spare me your opinion on the player. Having a wrist surgery in your rookie season is a tough thing to overcome when you are a 3 tech in the nfl. They had vets who could fill the role for them which was a good thing and he was not forced into playing when not 100%. Jordan phillips played that role pretty well.
  2. He was not a healthy scratch for any part of the regular season. He was a healthy scratch in the playoffs because they went with the veterans at the position and carter looked a little different after that wrist injury. He had wrist surgery during his rookie season. He returned and was not the same so the staff chose to make him inactive in the playoffs. HIm returning and playing through the injury and after the surgery tells me all I need to know about who carter is. He is going to be an asset to this team going forward.
  3. Yep. Going to be a good player for this team going forward. You didn't even know he played after his injury so spare me your opinion on the player.
  4. absolutely not true. He played in 4 more games but was not as effective because of the injury although he had a pretty good game in week 17 at New England.
  5. so that's a yes then, you think Coleman would have gone in the fourth round if the bills didn't take him. and to that last comment, Troy Franklin who this board and many fans on social media loved and many wanted the bills to take in the 2nd round and then each round on ran a 4.4 and was picked in the fourth round.
  6. The offensive line is huge. They are like 8 deep on the offensive line and they get no credit for rebuilding their offense over the course of two seasons. There is hyper focus on the weak spots. And those spots are this years area to address. Would love to see Jim Monos cut like 7 veterans and fill out a roster as good as the bills had with the cap space they are working with and then get the results they got this year.
  7. I'm sorry are you trying to say Coleman should have been taken in the 4th round? Interesting. Coleman was not picked in the first round. And the trade back to get him netted the team a very good player in Carter. So already he is wrong on the details. Must be why he works in the UFL.
  8. that is fine. That is very different from saying they are bad players who the team missed on. Very different statements. Coleman is 21 and just went through his first season in which he got injured and spent months hearing about the drunk johnny come lately fans say he needs to replace stephon diggs and be an all pro or he is bust. Coleman along with carter and kincaid are going to be just fine.
  9. There are a lot of out of work or in his case working in the ufl that have critical takes on organizations. They are everywhere in the podcast world and in the media. Most of them are dying to get back into the nfl and can't. Monos has a job in the ufl because of his relationship with russ brandon. You would think his expertise would be useful to one of the teams in the nfl but I guess not. Louis riddick has been begging the nfl to hire him for years. No one will.
  10. Not to get to deep into the weeds here because whatever but. To say Coleman, Carter and Kincaid are not good players after this year is ridiculous and makes me not interested in the rest of what he said honestly. Coleman and Carter were rookies who were playing better each week and then each got serious wrist injuries. It basically ended carter's season. Kincaid played on a bad pcl. Coleman returned but was not the same. That is a credit to those young players that they kept on fighting through. I just can't disagree enough with the opinion that these guys are not good players who are going to be better going forward. For the people that want McDermott fired that is fine and your opinion and I would have been on board had they fired him and hired Mike Vrabel. Vrabels titans teams played a more physical style of football that I prefer but he was not available and was clearly going to New England. Outside of Vrabel no one was hired this year that I would want in charge over mcdermott. One Great offseason changes the narrative on all this stuff. They have the opportunity this year to have that offseason. Tyler Dunne hates the guy so I always take anything he says about mcdermott not very seriously.
  11. Perfect player for Andy Reid. I expect him to be resigned in KC so Andy Reid can straighten him out. hall of famer Tony dungy might even step in and help out again.
  12. I expect them to draft two. Look at the roster. They have 3 dt’s. It’s a position of need.
  13. I personally think oliver/carter/groot/espenesa would all look great if they were the backing band to a great front line player on the line. How do you get a front line player on the line. Have a top 10 ish pick, trade into the top 10 ish, Trade for a proven vet and torch your draft or hope someone you take turns out to be way better than their scouting reports/college tape and or where they are picked a la Christian Benford.
  14. Not having Benford and Rapp for the second year in a row vs the chiefs hurt the defense a lot imo. Watching vonn miller spin and dip inside giving mahomes 10 yard walk in the parks either wasn't a big help. The eagles had an advantage though in the superbowl that no one talks about. they were on a neutral field and on turf in perfect weather conditions. That is a lot different than playing in 20 degree KC in front of 80k chiefs fans making a ton of noise. Play this game in KC and I am not sure the result is the same and if the eagles win I don't think it would be in the manner they won sunday.
  15. Buscaglia's reasoning for him (Ezeiruaku) was that he plays on the right side mostly(60%), he has above average arm length and has the explosiveness the bills covet. He seems to me like a guy you take because you think you have to take an end because you need an end. I don't see how lining up a 250 pound defensive end without dominant traits is a fit in this defense. I guess there are a lot of guys his size, I mean he is basically the same size as vonn miller. So what do I know. I just personally wasn't a fan of these three picks in the top 100. Good thing is it will change about a dozen times by the time of the draft.
  16. No one should ever care about what Andy Reid says about the running game.
  17. Bills 7-round mock draft: A new weapon for Josh Allen and filling big needs on defense Round 1 The pick at No. 30 — Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College Round 2 The pick at No. 56 — Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State The pick at No. 62 — Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame Round 4 The pick at No. 107 – J.J. Pegues, DT, Ole Miss The pick at No. 130 — Billy Bowman Jr., S, Oklahoma Round 5 The pick at No. 171 (projected compensatory pick) — Cody Simon, LB Ohio State The pick at No. 174 (projected compensatory pick) — Jo’quavious “Woody” Marks, RB, USC Round 6 The pick at No. 177 — G/T Jack Nelson, Wisconsin The pick at No. 179 — Kurtis Rourke, QB, Indiana The pick at No. 206 — James Burnip, P, Alabama Here is what Dane Brugler had to say about Donovan Ezeiruaku Ezeiruaku is more “dip and rip” than “force player” as a pass rusher, because of his natural feel for depth points and the different ways he uses jab steps and cross-chops to soften the corner. He ranked top three in the FBS this season in both sacks (16.5) and tackles for loss (20.5). He can be overwhelmed at times versus the run but flashes the length to get into his opponent’s pads, lock out and stalemate the point of attack, especially on the move. Brugler on Jalen Royals Thanks in part to his basketball background, Royals has a controlled, fluid stride and natural body coordination to be a weapon before and after the catch (10 catches of 50-plus yards over the last two seasons, No. 1 in the FBS). His tape showed heavy helpings of screens, hitches and go routes, and he is still learning the nuances of route running, but he already showed improvements during Senior Bowl practices. Brugler on Benjamin Morrison Regardless of the coverage, Morrison has terrific foot quickness, body fluidity and technique to mirror early and regain phase late, which allows him make plays on the football without panic. He shows a natural feel in coverage and understands play indicators, although play-strength and durability concerns will follow him to the next level. As he's back from his second hip surgery, Morrison's medicals will be critical for his final grade. I have to say I am not exactly a fan of that being the top 3. I am sure it will change many many times before the draft.
  18. Daquan was good in the playoffs. He will be a nice rotational player next year and not the starter hopefully.
  19. He has earned the right to ask for the moon and the stars. Hopefully its not a holdout situation but he was awesome this year.
  20. I like the idea of Signing Andre Cisco and then letting Bishop or rapp be the third guy and come in with the sub packages like rapp did in 23. Rapp has been hurt for each of the playoff runs now, missing both kc games. He can't be relied on. I would also sign Darius Slayton. Then you are rolling into the draft with no position screaming it needs help other than corner.
  21. "Once upon a time not long ago, when people wore pajamas and lived life slow.." For those of you who were not teenagers/young adults in the late 80s early 90s you missed out on driving around in a car full of friends with 12" kickers in the trunk powered by a rockford fosgate amp and an alpine tape deck. Slick Rick's "Children's Story" was a must in this situation. Glad to see Allen always is who we think he is. A lot of people are not.
  22. This is man defense misunderstanding is the new #1 wr talking point. we are going to get months of this. I don’t think he is on the bills radar but we now have his first defensive line coach on the staff. He played really well for him in New Orleans .
  23. I don’t believe anything that Twitter account posts. parsons is also a guy who wouldn’t fit in buffalo. He doesn’t really have a position, disappears a lot and rarely plays the run well. if Buffalo played a 34 maybe he could fit but he doesn’t right now in any way imo.
  24. Yea, my wife doesn’t believe I am not going to watch the game. So we bet that I won’t. if she wins she gets to yell at me and say I knew you would watch, you have never missed a game. if I win she gets to yell at me and tell me I am stupid because why would you watch every nfl game all year and then not watch to see who wins it all.
