  1. But the chiefs just did this last year? They didn't beat any good teams in the regular season last year off the top of my head then they won in buffalo and in baltimore and a super bowl. what do the steelers have to do with anything? There identity is losing playoff games, the polar opposite of KC.
  2. so three missed field goals, getting stuffed on 4th and 1 and committing repeated pass interference penalties to extend drives for KC is fundamentally sound football? Ok then.
  3. yes i understand that. They already beat denver and LA once this year so what makes it so improbably they would beat them again? There is no column in the standings labeled "Almost". Wins, Loss and Ties. That is all their is. and the golden rule is, It's not HOW it's How many. for the chiefs it currently is 11
  4. well I think they do and do not care about point spreads. They have to play two nfc west teams fighting to win the division and then the nfc's best team at detroit. I think that is a very hard 3 game stretch.
  5. no. I think buffalo running the table in the regular season is a big ask and if they don't and they lose one they then need the chiefs to lose 2. That scenario is highly unlikely.
  6. well winning out is of course possible but they have 3 very difficult games in a row he starting sunday. Obviously I hope they do its just a really tough ask.
  7. they are 11-1 and back to back super bowl champions. They win because they are good and beat people at the fundamentals. They are no more lucky than Detroit was yesterday. KC forces their opponents to play mistake free fundamentally sound football for 60 minutes. Not many teams in this league can do that because its a pretty average league to be honest and hardly any teams actually demand excellence from their club. Those day are gone.
  8. The number 1 seed is going to take some serious work. Buffalo is going to have to win out (highly unlikely) or hope KC loses two more games and Buffalo only loses 1 (also highly unlikely) this was a killer for the bills.
  9. why did they spike the ball with so much time left? it should have been spiked with 4 seconds left and then kick. amazing stuff
  10. omg just kick! what they doing with no timeouts there
  11. How can u not credit the chiefs though when they knocked down two passes on second and third down which caused the raiders to kick a 58 yard fg instead of maybe a 50 or 49 yarder.
  12. I would say the two batted passes on 2nd and 3rd down had more to do with it than correctly punting on the previous drive.
  13. fun and exciting stuff from the raiders sideline there.
  14. anyone who answers no.... well they probably will not be answering.
  15. There is a ton of experience on the raiders staff and punting on that last 4th down seemed to be the right move.
  16. That was yet another example of the officials allowing coaches to change their mind and switch their initial decision. this used to be enforced and was not allowed. Now apparently coaches can just keep changing their mind.
  17. O’Connell got blasted on the throw. The throw was perfect. Herbstreit credited everyone but O’Connell. the exact opposite of how he credits the chiefs.
  18. Wow banks is out too? the bills better smother this running game and then kill them on third down.
  19. You don’t have to challenge for a measurement. You can just ask for one when it is close and it was close enough. so losing a timeout had nothing to do with asking for a measurement.
  20. Why didn’t pierce ask for a measurement? what was that?
  21. Really sucks minshew is out today.
  22. There is no need to live in Los Angeles anymore to work in film/television/music. Especially when you are accomplished like she is. having said that she is from LA so I imagine that is where they will live when his career is over and in the offseason.
  23. That missed field goal feels like the end of the game.
