  1. The vikings said hold on we can pay more than that and paid Jefferson. Which makes perfect sense because after cousins was hurt last year Jefferson carried the Vikings to a division title and a championship.
  2. give him whatever he wants. He is a #1 wr. This is the most important position in all of sports. At least that is what it seems like I read here and on the internet
  3. What is the point of this? They already have one guy who is just there to make the league look good. This signing is absurd.
  4. As a man in my 40's I can relate. I sat too long in the same position last night watching the Yankees game and I too was limping when I finally got up. It sucks getting old.
  5. The good news for this guy is that Andy Reid loves guys who abuse dogs. Almost as much as guys who abuse women and alcohol.
  6. Its all about the offensive system they play in. They have good players and an excellent play caller in the leagues best system. They play inside most of the year. Stroud is going to have a monster year. I expect to lead the league in multiple categories. I can't remember the name of the player but there is a player who was with shanahan I think in Washington and he said in regards to the offense, if the qb knows even a little of what he is doing the offense is idiot proof. This is why guys like RGIII had great years in that system. Will they win their division, the afc or a super bowl....I have no idea but I am very confident they are going to throw the ball all over the building every week and rack up some incredible numbers. Yea cook is the lead guy. I was not that impressed his first year but last year he turned inside and ran the ball better. It felt like to me the rookie year he was running the sideline to much. He was way better last year. I am hoping this becomes running back by committee though and Davis is given a ton of carries, especially late in the game when the Bills have a lead. It's going to be fun to see how they go about it.
  7. man i have to say I am super horny for Ray Davis. Liked him when I read about and watched him and then being told what I was about him last week in regards to another team that wanted him.....I can't wait to see him play. Cook is the guy here but Davis is going to have a great season. I can not wait to see the role they create for him.
  8. I don't know but I feel like they have a little more size this year and maybe less speed. I think the safeties are bigger and with rasul douglas the full time starter he is a bigger player or at least plays bigger. I think they are going to be very good against the run and exceptionally good once milano is healthy and returns. I just am worried about this group getting pressure on quarterbacks. It doesn't seem like they have anyone who is going to really be an issue for an offense to worry about going into games. Hopefully that changes.
  9. He is going to have a huge season. I really don't see anyway barring injury they are not a top 3 offense from a production standpoint. He might throw for like 5000 plus yards and lead the league. The system he plays in basically guarantees he will be extremely productive and limit turnovers. Only the really terrible qb's turn the ball over in that system.
  10. Bobbly Slowik and the shanahan offense had a lot to do with it also.
  11. that numbering system of the 1 the 2 etc...means nothing. Those guys are all going to get the ball in houston plus schultz will get a bunch too. They are all going to get a role and be productive in that offense playing most of their games inside in domes. They play inside in 11 games, they play in only 1 potential bad weather game at KC in december. Stroud is going to throw it all over the place all year. Bobby Slowik is running Shanahan's system, the best offensive system in the league. They are going to use a bunch of different formations with those same guys and they are all going to make plays.
  12. they would then have to extend him in order to get him under this years cap. Seems like the kind of thing they are openly going away from at the moment. Hard to understand why Dan Quinn would want to trade away a guy like allen at this point in the year, seems like that would have been something they would have done before the draft. They would be sick if something happens to one of the other two tackles and they traded away Allen. Maybe next offseason when he has a year left on his deal that would make more sense. having said that if someone was willing to move a 2 or 3 for him it would be really hard to pass up I imagine.
  13. seems they have to just hang tight in case of injury through the summer and start of the season. I really hope they exhaust every potential defensive lineman possibility. Yannick Ngakoue had a good 22 and was not as productive in 23. If they could sign him and get the 22 version that had 9 sacks and 8 tfl he would be worth it on a 1 year deal that made sense.
  14. Its possible but it kind of feels to me that the team has three name players who either wont make the team or will make the team but not be a factor at all. Claypool, Collins and Miller. They will all get attention in camp and in the end will probably not be here or will not make any bit of difference.
  15. Clearly Aiyuk is more physically talented and the better blocker. However if taken out of that system in SF and then given the biggest wr contract in the nfl is he worth it? For what buffalo would have to give up and then pay for aiyuk is he that much of a difference maker over a guy like samuels who has very similar numbers, is roughly the same size and has a history with brady. I just don't see it. He plays on a team filled with elite talent on offense in the leagues premiere offensive system. It really doesn't seem like they have any interest in trading him anyway.
  16. I am exhausted with this topic but essentially interceptions happen. The more important thing to look at with interceptions is when they happen. The buffalo bills are pretty good at quarterback. I wish fans who are looking for something to complain about would put that energy where to me it appears it belongs, the defensive line. It looks like a very average group that is going to struggle this year. The von miller contract was and is a total disaster. Hopefully next year when miller is off the books they can find a real dominant pass rusher from free agency or the draft.
  17. They have a 31 million dollar dead cap hit for steve diggs.
  18. So a long way of complaining about Josh Allen on this fine start to a holiday weekend? That is my takeaway from this. You should have arm punted this idea.
  19. I was hoping they would bring in the H-Back type tight end to replace Gilliam but as of right now gilliam has a role. Maybe Gore and Davis change that in the summer though.
  20. I am not trying to start a fight but what exactly does Aiyuk bring to the table that Samuels does not? You can make the case Samuels is better because of his abilities in the rushing game. Aiyuk has returned punts and samuels has returned kicks. The big difference to me is that Aiyuk has been in offensive heaven in shannahan's offense and samuels has been in NFL purgatory in D.C. Aiyuk requires giving up a valuable draft pick plus he wants to be the highest paid wr in the league at the moment. So again, what exactly does he do that is special that would make the buffalo front office say we have to go get that guy....especially when they signed samuels for 3 years. I can see the desire for metcalf, he is unique. I have zero understanding in what it is people are pining for in Aiyuk and Deebo.
  21. well I was talking about the original premise of next years offseason but to this statement I think their have been some excellent additions to the offense most importantly the atmosphere and who is looking up to who. But it appears your needle is going to continue to skip on Diggs, Diggs, Diggs. So great if that is what gets u through the offseason thats fine.
  22. well here it means adding to the group of pass catchers. Buffalo has built an excellent running game and has a fabulous quarterback. So naturally adding to Allen, The O-Line, Cook, Davis, Knox, Kincaid, Coleman, Shakir, Samuel. Essentially the backend of the wr room is going to fluctuate like the dline is. If no one emerges as the top outside guy then I imagine they will seek one out in the draft/free agency as the top outside guy. On the flip side if coleman works out and they like having guys who lineup all over I would imagine they are drafting middle rd wr again or mid level guys in free agency. I am pretty positive this is a good group on offense. I am not so sure the defensive line and cornerback group is anything special. I will go as far as saying this team right now to me will not get over the hump in the AFC as they are currently on Defense.
  23. That is probably a potential for next years offseason depending on where they finish and minnesota finishes. Defensive line and corner are going to demand high resources though also.
  24. they voided all of steve's future years into 2024 and only have him under contract for this year. He is going to save another franchise in 2025.
