  1. Physically he’s as talented as anyone. Where he’s behind is the mental part of being a qb. Processing speed. Getting the ball to the right place depending on game situations. You don’t think he can improve in this area of his game? Right now him and the team have hit a ceiling. The roster has been turned over to get younger and hopefully break that ceiling. Whether they can do that will depend in large part by Allen. Hopefully he’s up to the challenge.
  2. Mahomes is much better at taking what defenses give him. Recognizing how defenses are playing him and getting the ball to the right receiver against those defenses. He’s also much better at knowing game situations and what it takes to win as opposed to stats accumulation. That’s a large reason why KC is winning SB’s. It’s a team game but the QB holds the biggest key. Your team is not winning multiple SB’s if your QB is not operating at this mental level of the game.
  3. No. I’m saying we can do a lot better as a team. Including Allen.
  4. He has never thrown for 40 TDs in is career but you think he’ll have 60 four years from now? Maybe if he’s the type of personality that dedicates himself to being the best ever he might have chance. At the rate he’s going he has a better chance to get his golf index down to 2 by age 31 than throwing for 60 TDs. Yes. We’ll be fine winning the division and getting knocked out in the playoffs. The Bears, Falcons, Colts would love to be us.
  5. By this logic who needs to watch games when you can just look at stats. This is a very nutty argument you’re making. Especially for the qb position. Both guys are better than their earlier selves.
  6. Looking forward to next offseason already?
  7. That doesn’t mean he won’t watch any film. Can’t compare that to Kyler who has it written in his contract to study.
  8. Dalmar would’ve converted the fake punt!
  9. I’m not sure if the watching film part is true but there seems to be a lot of smoke about it since last season. What’s clearly accurate is his deficiencies in processing reads and game situational awareness. In short the mental part of being an elite qb. Hoping that he recognizes that and is doing everything he can to improve.
  10. Oh my. I must have missed Bills playing in the superbowl. Damn multiverse.
  11. Agreed. But he was also a rookie. I think he exceeded a lot of people’s expectations. Mine included.
  12. KC has won with a #1 guy in Hill and won without a true #1 wr. I think they’re an exception and not too many teams throughout league history can do that. Bills have not won it with Diggs as a true #1 wr the last four years. Fans were even upset that Davis didn’t do more as a #2. Expecting to win it now after losing that #1 wr and that #2 is an improbable expectation. Another true reliable #1 has to emerge from the current group (including draft picks) this season for there to be a real chance the following season. This season will be used to sort all this out. When KC traded away Hill they put a lot of burden on Mahomes to make it work with the aftermath. Same will be expected of Allen. Let’s see how it unfolds.
  13. Similarly Sky Moore and other KC receivers are there with Mahomes as well. Whether these offseason extra work help is debatable. What’s funny is the length some fans go to defend Allen when it really isn’t necessary. It’s ok if Allen doesn’t want to do this. He’s always among the stat leaders during the season so it’s all good. Edit: Slight advantage I see with Mahomes’ camp is working with draft prospects. I think Brock Bowers is there and might be others.
  14. They made the playoffs last year but were not contenders. They overachieved. That experience made them see their deficiencies and they addressed them to make a run next season. I think they will be one of the top 4 in the AFC if Stroud doesn’t take a step back.
  15. How do you know? Are you with him 24/7? He doesn’t have a wife that’s social media savvy you know.
  16. You don’t think Houston is a contender? They’re building to make a run next season.
  17. We wouldn’t have been bothered by Diggs’ cryptic tweets because we’d be occupied with Rex’s weird feet tweets.
  18. I thought trading away a 1st for Diggs was tremendous help for Allen.
  19. Haha. Online posts have no tone of voice context so readers will fill that in with whatever suits their interest. So no you didn’t hit a nerve. It’s all fun to get through my day. For me it’s definitive because of history and players turnovers. It’s hard to argue with those. So now I’m insecure on top of being a child. Lol. Ok I’ll have a drink tonight to that! Cheers and go Bills!
  20. I think we will be better. Getting younger is a great move for the team. But it’ll take time for young players to match (hopefully exceed) production from those vets. This coming season will be a testing period of sort with new younger talent. If things go well 2025-2026 season could be when it happens. If Bills don’t hoist a Lombardi that season I think the coaching staff will be gone.
  21. Saying we can win it in a year with roster turnovers of major players on the team is what children do when they can’t comprehend the reality of a situation. When the adults explain what the situation really is the children would start calling people names because they just don’t like it.
  22. It wasn’t meant to be sarcasm. The quotes were quoting what most here say. Yes I agree that the WR room needs an upgrade. Even more so now that Diggs is gone. My response was to the poster that said we can win with scrub receivers like KC did because we have Allen. We can all see that is not true given what has played out. No snark intended.
  23. That formula only works for Mahomes and KC. Bills need multiple all pro receivers otherwise it’s ‘not giving Allen weapons’.
