Dude, I said they looked "fine." I mean, there's only so much you can do with the Vikings uniforms. I could do without the side panels on all the new uniforms, but overall I think they're a step up from what the Vikings had (which was pretty dull to begin with). Had they given this project to the guy who made the new Bills uniforms, he'd have added a teal stripe to the helmet along with orange sleeves and light blue numbers to the current purple and yellow.

This scene is even better because right after the guy in the crowd says that, the entire rest of the crowd starts chanting "Enri-CO Polot-ZO!! Enri-CO Polot-ZO!!" That was a nice touch that I never even noticed until a couple years ago.

Oh my God, what if ALL the players are gone by the time we pick?? DOOOMED!

They look fine. All they really did was add some purple to the away uniforms, add some white to the home uniforms, and move the yellow around a little from where it was. Oh, and purple pants. At least they didn't add 2 unnecessary colors and an unnecessary shoulder block thing like some teams .....

Well, I read the book and I can't remember (probably because I read it back in 1999, when the Sabres were making their Cup run). The original The Godfather by Mario Puzo is a great read and the first two movies are very true to it (the events in the novel cover all of the first movie and the young Don Corleone scenes from Part II). It's not one of those "Oh, the book is SO MUCH better" things but it's a great read because it fleshes some things out more that they could never squeeze into a movie. Highly recommended.

Paulie called in sick because he was in on the plot against Don Corleone, or at least that's what I thought.

Can't believe no one mentioned the "baptism" scene in The Godfather. All the heads of the five families....

The sad part is that somebody, somewhere has photoshopped just that.

ESPN sucks because they've already had about 500 hours of NFL draft coverage so far in 2006 and the draft is still a few days away. Seriously, spending 2 hours a day talking about the draft is not necessary. It's garbage. And, yes, the NHL playoffs are more important than a "hard-hitting" interview with Matt Leinart about why he took ballroom dancing his last semester.
