I'll take a couple stabs at this one. 1. Ducks players can play hockey at night and spend their days at the beach. 2. Ducks players are loved by the fans when they win. And when they lose, the fans just find something else to do besides jump all over them and try to run them out of town. (Take note, Buffalo). So basically you can live in Newport Beach, in the perfect climate, and play for people who only know how to love you and never figured out the concept of "booing." Oh, and women in Anaheim are gorgeous. So I'm thinking, yeah, I'd probably play in Anaheim.

Someone called Shoop and the Bulldog this afternoon (I've been listening to WGR online for the entire playoffs) and made the exact same point - the Sabres and Sens are each too good to win four in a row against each other. It's possible they'd just seen my post but I like that someone else maybe had the same thought.

Coming into this series, we should have known that: 1. The Sabres aren't good enough to win four in a row against the Sens. 2. The Sens aren't good enough to win four in a row against the Sabres. If the Sabres had lost game 1 but won the last three, we'd all be on cloud 9 today. The Sabres are a damn good hockey team. They're not a fluke and they're not going to blow this.

Sabres a little flat so far. They'll recover. They only trailed five times in game one.

Sabres need to score the first goal to find out if any Sens are going to start heading toward the bus.

Game time fast approaching. Maybe we can get Muckler to put a chair through a window tonight.

Just got back from it and I thought it was a very good action movie. And anyone complaining about realism in a movie where people can wear masks and completely change their appearance in minutes just doesn't get it. For the record, I have no idea why an arms deal was going down at the Vatican in MI3 and I don't care either. It's definitely worth checking out.

Ha ha! I just stopped by the Flyers message board and checked out their game thread for our game. They're whining that it's the worst hockey they've ever seen. Yeah, guys, keep telling yourselves that hockey is horrible now that there's speed, talent, and scoring.

Shouldn't be saying anything too negative. They played great. The Sabres winning was basically a miracle. We're going to need to take it up a notch come Monday.

Someone's gonna have to hit Jeanneret with a tranquilizer before all is said and done.

I listened to the whole game on the internet. But back in B-Lo my dad burned the whole thing to DVD and we were on the phone when the Sabres won it (he freaked out before I did due to the delay on NHL radio). Can't wait to see this thing from start to finish.
