    The rumor on Connolly was that he was OK but mentally he wasn't ready to go back in a game (could you blame him?). If that rumor was true, this wouldn't be far fetched.

    I'd understand a report that Connolly might play tonight, but where did they pull they 80% from? Bizarre. No, this doesn't help our defense but it'd be huge for our powerplay. We're a way better team with Connolly. That said, this is a little hard to believe.

    If it's the flu, maybe he didn't fly with the team because they didn't want him in the recycled air of the airplane with the rest of the team. And that means he could possibly play tonight. No idea. Whatever. Just win one game.

    Also, the rest of the team was hit by that ray gun in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and there's no time to fix them. So the entire Sabres team is going to be 4 feet tall tonight. Also, Ryan Miller is going to play with one of those face hugger things from Alien on his face.

    Why not? It could only get funnier if like 2 or 3 of the forwards got lost on their way to the arena. Alright, it's just one game. Miller, go steal one for us. And GO NATHAN PAETSCH!!! YOU'RE AN ANIMAL!!!

    My guess is about 60-65% of the TVs in Buffalo will be tuned in to the game tomorrow. In Raleigh? 10% of the TVs would be a lot. If there's any justice in the universe, the Sabres will advance.

    The season finale was awesome. Dinkin Flicka was topped immediately but the "secret Negro handshake" moments later. That was one of the most funny and bizarre things I've ever seen on a sitcom. The Office is the best sitcom since the glory days of Seinfeld.

    Lots of the recent teams that won the World Series also came from behind when facing elimination to win a series in 7 games. 2001 Diamondbacks. 2002 Angels. 2003 Marlins. 2004 Red Sox. Sabres will win tonight. I think this message board has had about enough horrible news for one day today.
