Paul's death makes this the worst week in Stadium Wall history. You add the Sabres on top of that, and I don't think there's a way to ever have a worse week. Unless the Bills lose the Super Bowl again the same week like five of us get eaten by sharks in a horrible boating accident. But the chances of that happening are slim. The Bills are not getting back to the Super Bowl. (And, yes, in a weird way I just said Paul was worth any five of us. OK, more like fifteen. )

Obviously there is not any justice because Carolina is in the Finals again even though they can't sell out their ECF games. Connolly coming back healthy, with a better helmet, might be no.1 on my list of things we need to get to the next level.

Agreed, bright yellow 'gold' is definitely still my preference. Oh, anyways, last I heard about the new look from someone who claimed to have seen them was that they were very "unique." I actually found that troublesome.

Yeah, those are just about Da Bomb. #4 is definitely the best. I like the fat Buffalo he has in all the primary logos. The yellow alternate picture (Curtis Brown) does look pretty good too. EDIT: And if our new uniforms are from the same guy who re-did the Bills look, then we're fooked.

It's been confirmed that the uniforms are all new. I haven't heard anything official about the colors. I want a dark, but NOT NAVY, blue and the same old yellow. That way we can eventually have kickass yellow third jerseys (kinda like Team Sweden).

Either acute cellulitis, or what? My dad had a bone infection in his foot back in March and we spent two weeks planning for an amputation. Then it either miraculously cleared up or was misdiagnosed in the first place. That was some scary sh--.

Yes. The talk was that the Sabres couldn't even stop the change if the wanted to (i.e. in the event they won the Cup and wanted to keep the uniforms they did it in).

We need to unveil the new uniforms ASAP. Buffalo needs something to feel good about right away to help wash away the crappy taste this game left in our mouthes.

He's good as a seventh defensemen, someone who you can put in from time to time but not count on for the long haul. Could we really put a young guy like Janik or Jillson in that role? Or Paetsch? I think of those guys as players we're planning on developing into full time Sabres someday so I'd like them to play.

I'd entertain trading him. He's pretty inconsistent and it doesn't look like he's ever going to develop a shot to go with everything else he does. His stock is high too, so maybe we could get something good in return.

Looking over the list, I think it'd be hilarious if the Sabres could bring Peca back. Put him with Mair and Gaustad and you have the greatest checking line in the history of hockey. Won't happen, just amusing myself to get over the loss. If McCabe is worth $6M a year, does that mean Ed Jovonaski is worth $20M a year?

Dude, anyone can tell you that the first coach of the Mighty Ducks was Gordon Bombay (played by Emilio Estevez). And they had to win so he could stick it to his old pee wee coach who made him quit hockey as a kid.

Game 2 is the game to be mad about. They played like they would have been happy going home to Buffalo tied 1-1. They could have gone up 2-0 before the injuries really took over.

Maybe Peca and Roli can restore some sense of justice to the universe. Carolina winning the Stanley Cup is a friggin' abortion (thanks, AD).

Ummmm....no. We lost because of the injuries. Give us back on of the guys we were missing and that probably puts us over the top. It wasn't our year. Not yet.

At least when we win it next year, we'll be wearing blue and gold. I seriously hate being from Buffalo.
