  1. You want VD from Marv???
  2. Cat Attacks Cue the music from Predator.....
  3. Of all the reality problems with the show, I'd say "no one uses the restroom" has to be #8,547 on my list.
  4. The Shield (best show on TV, IMO) 24 Lost South Park The Office I try to catch Family Guy but it's not on the same level as the other 5 I mentioned. I caught a few episodes of Battlestar Galactica on the Sci-Fi channel and it was great too but I just didn't want to add another show to my life. Someday I'll watch those DVDs from the start. RE: Firefly, my uncle the actor had a couple lines in one of the episodes when it was on TV. He played some interplanetary dignitary guy at this ballroom event thing the main characters were attending. He (and a bunch of the other rich, interplanetary guys) was talking to the ship's mechanic about spaceship engines. Fezmid is probably sick of hearing this story by now.
  5. He may have been grazed by a bullet a few times. Usually happens towards the end of the season and Bauer just walks it off. A few "hours" ago this season he cracked a couple ribs but he's OK now as well. And remember, the 90 or so people he's killed were all killed in four and a half days. Think of all the time he's spent killing in between seasons. Over the course of his life, Jack Bauer has killed roughly 36,000 people.
  6. I actually did remember that, but I figured I'd just go with the fact that the memo basically gives no new information. And for those of you who still aren't understanding the story: The memo does NOT say that Bush didn't think they'd find WMD's in Iraq, it says they didn't think they'd find them before the war began.
  7. Things aren't going so well over there right now.
  8. I think it's weird that the NYT is making a big deal about a memo that basically presents no new information.
  9. Even the NY Times admits there isn't much new information here: Basically the memo says that less than two months before the war began, Bush and Blair were focusing their planning on the war because they didn't think there was much chance of Saddam complying with the UN resolutions or the international inspectors finding anything on their own. Here's a link where you don't need a password if anyone wants to read the actual article: LINK
  10. Is this really the way you form your opinions? Holy sh--.
  11. He was awful. One of the commentators mentioned that every shot he took was a fadeaway because he didn't want any part of LSU's defenders. He'll get eaten alive in the NBA.
  12. I really love women with great "soles" but then I really love shoes.
  13. It strikes me as retarded. If they want to stop drinking and driving, they should arrest people who are drinking and driving.
  14. Yeah, Texas really sucks. Especially if you like beautiful women, great weather, and a great economy.
  15. We were barely hanging on for the entire 2nd half. The Horns were physically smacked around the entire game and basically afraid to go near the paint on offense.
  16. Happy birthday, Wacka. We are all very proud and scared of you.
  17. Oh, that's right, I completely forgot about the ENORMOUS NATIONAL CRISIS we were facing about a month ago. Whatever happened with that? Oh well.
  18. It's spelled "Mandy Moore". Get it right.
  19. Aren't you the guy who was whining about a "stolen election" one post ago?
  20. Did it get into the ranch dressing? (God, what a dumb post to start the day. )
  21. I've been holding off on commenting on this because the reasons for the riots/protests seemed so idiotic to me that I was sure I was simply misunderstanding them. From the article: So basically the young French are demanding that they have a right to employment and that whoever finally does hire them should never have the right to fire them? Isn't the whole idea behind employment that you are paid to work for someone because you are valuable to them? Did that get thrown out the window? I'd never even heard of the concept of "Hire me and pay me for as long as I want to be around" until this past weekend. The rioters have not only heard of this, the very idea of not having guaranteed employment makes them violent. Unreal. It's not hard to imagine why France's economy is in the toilet these days.
  22. Riiiiight. Because they had to be there after the invasion. I'm pretty sure this is the same group that showed up in Iraq before the invasion to serve as human shields for Saddam. But it's not like they're crazy or anything.
