  1. Sucks to be you, "Dunta."
  2. He probably didn't say "freaking."
  3. To anyone who didn't notice, this is a sarcastic thread mocking the similar thread about JP ("we won't be drafting any QB's next year"). Of course, an offensive line is five people, not to mention backups since so many players get hurt over the course of a season, which is quite a bit different from the process of drafting and developing a QB. But I'm sure Frez took that into account with his razor-sharp wit.
  4. Schoop and the Bulldog drive me up the wall but I love listening to Brad Riter. He's always enthusiastic, he doesn't take himself seriously, and (amazingly) he stays optimistic. He also rarely loses his temper with callers. He's smooth enough to laugh off the callers who have an axe to grind and just want to rant. I do like pointing out that not everyone at WGR sucks. Simon and White are pretty good too.
  5. Best win of the last five years.
  6. That's not what was said at all. The reason people didn't want Holcomb to start is that we already know what he's capable of. He's a decent veteran backup. That's it. You start JP because he's your first round pick and he's supposed to develop into a much better player (which I already think he has). So you take your lumps with JP and risk dropping an extra couple games for the good of the team. There's a huge difference between risking more losses and flat-out saying "winning hurts the franchise." DeLuca thinks it's a good idea to just lose and hope it somehow helps us draft better. Unfortunately, high draft picks guarantee absolutely nothing.
  7. Worst song and worst video combination? Everything by Fergie (that girl from the Black Eyed Peas).
  8. JP had some decent pass protection but definitely not on that first TD (he got killed right after he got rid of it). In that case (and at a few other key points in the game) he just plain made things happen. And that was great to see.
  9. I think it had a lot to do with the Bills consistantly being buried on their own side of the field and not having much of a run attack. Losman had one guy to throw to and forced it in there when he shouldn't have.
  10. The most impressive thing about Losman today was that he only had one receiver who gets open and he still turned that into a win. For 59 and a half minutes the only play that worked was "Losman to Evans" and we basically worked that into an entire gameplan. The offensive line played much better today but the fact remains that Losman has very little to work with. Royal drops at least one pass a game, Price is rarely open, Parrish has never fought to catch a ball since he's been a Bill, and Reed is hurt. We have one receiver. Morons who hate Losman should take that into account when they're bashing him.
  11. Bulldog is two days removed from calling Losman a "clown" and basically saying he's the one making the offensive line look bad. Schoop has found every way imaginable to say Losman sucks and will never amount to anything without using the exact words "Losman sucks and will never amount to anything." But don't call him on that because he'll freak out. (You have to appreciate a radio host so pompous that he thinks he's doing you a favor by letting you talk to him on the radio for 30 seconds.) It'll be nice to hear Brad Riter, Howard Simon, and Jeremy White tomorrow as they've all been much more supportive of JP (especially Riter).
  12. You can just tell from watching him play that he has "IT."
  13. We tried to run on a 3rd and 1 in the 4th quarter and got stuffed.
  14. Don't tell that to the maniacs who think they can evaluate Nall in the last four games of the season to "see where the Bills stand going into next year."
  15. Never underestimate the complete lack of intelligence and perspective of TSW idiots.....
  16. Right up until Price's touchdown all I could think was how much better we'd be with more than 1 receiver. And Robert Royal's drop in the 4th was unbelievable.
  17. They were very good today.
  18. [DeLuca]This winning is going to kill the franchise! Why are we even trying to get back to .500? We need to draft high because everyone knows the teams that draft high always get superstars and end up in the Super Bowl shortly thereafter.[/DeLuca]
  19. Because getting high draft picks is better than winning? Haven't the Texans drafted pretty high pretty much since they came into the league? How's that worked out? Oh, that's right, you already said they're a terrible team so today's win doesn't count.
  20. The best play was still the first TD. He got absolutely DRILLED on that play and the pass was PERFECT.
  21. Last second win on the road when down by 4? Can you think of a better moment? By your standards, the best Bills moment of the last few years was when we clinched the 4th overall draft pick a few years back. That worked out awesome.
  22. Deluca just chimed in with "Evans should get to know Brady Quinn."
  23. I never thought anyone could post anything this completely stupid but here we are. "Winning hurts the franchise."
  24. I've been saying all year that JP is basically alone out there on offense. He has Evans to pass to and that's about it (great last catch by Price, wonderful 4th quarter drop by Royal again). We had no running game today and he stilled pulled a win out today. No one could win consistantly with the offense we have right now. We have one play -- "throw to Evans"
