I actually would like to see how Reebok would make a leaf look hip or cool (in their view) to appeal to younger fans. Obviously younger people in Canada just don't like the Maple Leafs and need a "fresh" logo to appeal to them. My guess is that Reebok would come up with a mean looking, Pokemon-esque leaf (with eyes and a snarl) that is riding a skateboard and streaking from left to right. (Yes, I do think of "Reebok" as the morons in The Simpsons who came up with Poochie the in your face rapping surfer dog character in Itchie and Scratchie. "Recycle.....TO THE EXTREME!")

If Reebok came up with "banana slug/hair piece" to represent the Buffalo Sabres, then there's no telling what they'll come up with to represent Maples Leafs. The new Leafs logo could be a refrigerator or a telephone with these idiots in charge.

It's not crazy to think either Pennington or Preston could turn out to be a good player. Good offensive linemen often come from the later rounds. And, of course, Peters wasn't even drafted.

The Bills haven't had a "great defense" in a looooong time. And anyone who has paid any attention to football can tell you that you can win with great defense and OK offense much more easily than you can with great offense and OK defense. I'm not really sure where you got the idea that I was advocating keeping a "poor offense" around. There is literally not one NFL team that can't run all over us. That's a more severe problem than our offensive struggles in the passing and running games.

Why not? Every single team we've played has run all over us while the offensive line has been showing signs of life the last few weeks.

I still think the top priority has to be finding a way to stop the other team from running all over us. We'll never win consistantly until we can do that. The offensive line has been better since we put Pennington in there. It's tough to comment on his play, though, since I've only been able to watch the last two games on my radio.

Probably because the Ducks are the no.2 hockey team in a market that could care less about hockey and already has 2 basketball and 2 baseball teams, all of which have been at least moderately successful the past few years. Not to mention that people in that area have great weather and about a million other ways to entertain themselves besides sports. Buffalo has two sports teams that have been terrible for the better part of the 2000's and basically nothing to do but watch sports and drink (oh, and now gamble). Now one of the teams is ridiculously good. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out.

Like I said, my main problem is that she's bashing her country to score points abroad. I don't care if she really loves Great Britain and says so, but she goes out of her way to mention America and mention how bad it is compared to whereever. All the more perplexing because this country seems to have been really good to her. Did she say it? The magazine that printed it supposedly took it from another interview she did. Also, this isn't the first time she has said something like this. She's pretty consistantly a retard.

The D is the strength of the team but it's still not that great. The way I see it, the fastest way to become an elite team is to have an elite defense. Adding a really good DT or LB would really help the guys we have now. I'm just talking about the first round and it really depends on who's available. The Bills have so many needs that they'll be in a position to take the best player available with most of their picks and immediately help the team.
