The big news with Nintendo Wii this week was that people were losing grip of the controller and throwing it through windows and televisions. The thin wrist strap that was included was breaking and basically doing nothing. Nintendo has responded by making a thicker wrist strap that won't break. Unfortunately, that led to this headline: New Nintendo Strap-On Penetrating Europe That's right. Europe needs to be penetrated by a nice, thick new strap-on.

I lot of people seemed to like Armageddon and I hated that movie.

I don't mind Christmas Story but as far as supposed "Christmas classics" go it's my least favorite by far. Favorite is easily It's a Wonderful Life followed by Christmas Vacation. The original Miracle on 34th Street is great. Most of the Christmas movies from the last 15 years or so are completely terrible with Elf as a big exception.

They might as well have been advertising The Undertaker v.s. Kane or Hulk Hogan v.s. Andre the Giant. It's all stupid crap. It means nothing. They advertise that way because dumb people fall for it. Every single game is advertised as a life or death struggle between two rivals that hate each other. In real life, when there's less than a minute left in the 4th quarter, the guys on both sidelines are talking about where they're going after the game. Nobody likes that stupid crap. That's the reason everyone is incredulous when Ladainian Tomlinson doesn't bounce around like a retard every time he scores a touchdown. Because the NFL is full of morons you wouldn't want to know or let in your house if they weren't good at football. The NFL has a whole culture of stupid crap. I can't even remember how many times I've seen some idiot get a sack and do an elaborate dance even though his team is losing by 20 in the 4th quarter.

Pretty much every time I see sketches of a new baseball stadium I think about how much I'd like to go there. Every time I see sketches of a new football stadium I can't help but think it looks like an airport or something. I'd like the Bills to get a nice new stadium someday but these stadiums really don't impress me all that much.

If the Bills ever leave Buffalo, my interest in the NFL will plummet. The NFL is half pro-wrestling and half minstrel show anyway. I'm so sick of the overhyped crap like "Manning v.s. Manning" and the Saints being the "team all of America is behind", as well as watching morons like T.O, Chad Johnson, etc. dance around for our entertainment. I'll sort of keep tabs on whatever team is on whereever I live but I'll mostly just spend more money watching baseball and hockey. (BTW, unless Western New York really does come back from the dead, the Bills will move someday. The area continues to suck while other areas are growing rapidly. Can you really imagine the Bills in Buffalo come 2050 unless all the current trends change?)

Both Schoop and the Bulldog had the biggest hard-ons for the Jets all week. They couldn't stop talking about how much the Jets had improved all year long and how they Jets were where they wanted the Bills to be. If they really said the game only proved the Jets were bad, then they're either complete idiots or are knowingly changing their opinions to try to make the show better.

They were probably referring to the new "swift" (i.e. spandex) uniforms the entire league is adopting next season (to be unveiled at the All-Star game this year). The new swift things are supposed to be the reason that the Sabres have no horizontal lines on their new uniform and why initially the NHL wanted EVERY team to change their uniforms to help Reebok's plan along. Fortunately, every team (especially the classic teams) told the NHL to !@#$ off so they had to delay the swifts an extra couple years and now it appears most (if not all) teams will not be changing their uniform designs due to the new material. So basically the Sabres new uniforms are retarded because they were designed for the stupid, new-material uniform template from two years ago that has since been scrapped. Way to go, Larry Quinn.
