No, they have talking about replacing the turf for a while now. Players around the league have complained MetLife has one of the worst fields in the league.
Henry McKenna on Twitter: "#Jets DT @QuinnenWilliams is seeking between $25M-$30M per year in his upcoming contract, per source. (More than Jeffery Simmons and less than Aaron Donald.) "He loves the Jets. He just wants to get paid. Hopefully it doesn't get messy," the source said. Story coming...." / Twitter
Once my Isles were eliminated then I wanted the Rangers and Leafs out. Since they are also gone, I really don't care who wins the Cup from the teams still playing.
Dov Kleiman on Twitter: "𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: #Jets star DT Quinnen Williams bio now reads: "Defensive Tackle for ………" With his last tweet is a RT of the contract the #Giants gave Dexter Lawrence - $90 million with $60 million guaranteed. Williams is clearly sending the Jets a message as they're working… https://t.co/cHVY4npXxW" / Twitter
They might lose to the Jets at MetLife. Primetime game on the road, Rodgers first game as a Jets. Place will be going absolutely crazy, but I doubt they lose to the Raiders at home and the Commanders on the road. They should be either 3-0 or 2-1 after 3 weeks. They start 0-3 and the pitchforks and knives will be out for McDermott's head.
NHL - Isles fan so the early 80's obviously.
MLB - Yankees fan. I would say the Torre years with Jeter.
NFL - with the Bills the early 90's and the Super Bowl years. Shame they couldn't win one. Honorable mention the early 80's with the Chuck Knox teams. The Allen years are also fun to watch. Hopefully they can win one at some point.
I wonder if they will retire Andre's #83. I always thought the core of 4 from the Super Bowl teams were 12,34,78, and 83. Andre should join Jim, Thurman, and Bruce and have his number retired.
One thing about the Bills. They seem to always lose a game they shouldn't (say the Giants this year) and win a game they shouldn't (Bengals or Eagles this year). I see 10-7 as the floor with 12-5 as the ceiling. Hard to say right now. Some teams you think will be tough aren't and vice versa. Also, injuries play a factor every year in the NFL.
Everybody knew the Bills were going to get a lot of primetime games at night, but I can't remember the last time the Bills played a home game at 4:00/4:25.
