    This latest rebuild has worked. 91 points last season. They have a core group of players 25 or younger who are very good. They still need to improve the defense and there is no reason to think they won't in FA/draft. I mentioned this before, but I think the Sabres in this upcoming season will have the same type of breakout season that the Devils had last year.

    I have faith they can get it done in the regular season. They have proven that. It's getting over the hump in the playoffs and winning a Super Bowl that I have no faith in in McDermott and his coaches. 13 seconds means McDermott doesn't get the benefit of the doubt in the postseason.

    Maybe he wants to go to the CFL. He won't be a Bill, so I don't care where he goes.

    What does "respected around the league" have to do with McDermott's job security with the Bills. As we have seen with the Sabres Terry will make changes at the GM/HC position if he feels it's necessary. I do think it would take a worst-case scenario type of season for changes to be made. Something like 4-13 for instance.

    People didn't vote for Biden. They voted against Trump. After 4 years of damage, I think people will vote differently this time. 401K's are down. Border control problem. Inflation just to name a few things with Biden. Worst President in my lifetime.

    If he does, then something is seriously wrong with our elections. I don't see how anyone can defend the guy. Worst President in my lifetime.

    The problem the Whalers had is they were a small market team that was sandwiched between two original 6 teams in the Rangers and Bruins. Also didn't they play their home games in a mall. I would love to see the Whalers, Nordiques back but I think if any market gets a team, it will be Houston or KC.

    I would put the 13 seconds game as Allen's best. If I remember correctly, he rallied the Bills twice in the 4th quarter in a very hostile environment in a playoff game. It's not his fault the Bills defense played like Moe, Larry, and Curly at the end.

    Maybe NY sure but people are leaving CA to go to other places like Texas, Arizona, Nevada. Newsome is doing a great job destroying CA. Look at SF as an example.

    I think you mean Newsome with California, and Hochul with New York when you talk about damage. People are MOVING TO Florida in large numbers and LEAVING California and New York in large numbers as well. I can't imagine why anyone would vote for Biden in 2024 given all the damage he has done.

    Decline? He played hurt since the first Jets game if I remember correctly. There are things Josh does need to clean up with his game like too many turnovers for one. Hopefully the OL is better and if Kincaid can become another weapon, then I think Josh will have a big year.

    Did anyone stay up and watch the Panthers 3-2 win over the Canes in 4 OT's last night. I watched till the end of the 1st OT. Getting up early and going to work prevented me from staying up later.

    If he wins a Super Bowl with Allen (HE WOULD IMHO) every Bills fan would love the guy.

    Good point. She may have kids of her own someday and want to pass ownership of the Bills to them. Like the Rooney family with the Steelers. I do think if any team gets sold it would be the Sabres and not the Bills. The Bills and Sabres are in different worlds financially.

    Being an NFL owner is like owning the golden goose. The value of the Bills and league overall continue to go up. If any team is in danger of being sold it would be the Sabres. The Bills are a cash cow, the Sabres not so much.

    In today's world I don't think even the young are enjoying themselves. I consider myself lucky to grow up as a kid, teenager in the 70's and into the 80's.
