  1. Hope she didn't get hurt. Have to admit I never heard of her.
  2. I will be at the season opener as I live 20 minutes from MetLife, but the home opener is a no from me.
  3. Yet the Bills are still getting love. What is shocking is that the Lions are on the list. Darren Rovell on Twitter: "Most bet on teams to win the Super Bowl, by money %, at @betmgm: 1. Bills, 15.7% (8/1) 2. Eagles, 9.3% (7/1) 3. Bengals, 8.9% (9/1) 4. Lions, 7.5% (20/1) 5. 49ers, 7.3% (10/1)" / Twitter
  4. Jim Piddock on Twitter: "Heartbroken to hear my dear friend and mentor Paxton Whitehead has passed away. He was an extraordinary actor, a brilliant friend, and truly wonderful human being. He meant so much to so many people and always brought a smile to the faces of everyone he encountered. https://t.co/jKQksZ0myv" / Twitter
  5. Pretty soon it's going to be a Weekend at Bernie's type of situation propping Biden up going all around the country.
  6. 42-33-7 - 91 points last season. I think the Sabres like their coaching staff. This will be the year playoff hockey returns to WNY.
  7. There was an article ranking the head coaches. McDermott came in at 11. 11. Sean McDermott, Buffalo Bills - McDermott has been the most successful -- and perhaps, only successful -- coach Buffalo has had since Marv Levy, but you get the feeling that the 49-year-old's seat might be a little warm. McDermott probably would get hired elsewhere immediately if dismissed by Buffalo, but if there's a third consecutive disappointing postseason exit in the midst of Josh Allen's peak, a new voice may be best for all involved.
  8. While the regular season record has been very good the playoff failures have been frustrating especially the way they have lost. Andy Reid had a lot of success with the Eagles, but he could never win it all with them. Philly moved on from Reid. The Bills moving on from McDermott would be very similar.
  9. No guarantees but the way they were playing that year I think they would have gotten by the Bengals. Allen and the offense were unstoppable. But we will never know.
  10. Agree. Plus, it's not like McDermott hasn't been given a fair chance. This will be his 7th year as coach of the Bills. At some point you have to wonder if he is the guy to get them over the hump. If he fails, this year then I could see his seat getting warm.
  11. Look at Elway as an example. He didn't win a Super Bowl for the longest time (although he did get to and lose 3 of them) but the Broncos managed to build a team around him nearing the end of his career which allowed him to win 2 Super Bowls. The Bills have time to win with Allen, but I am not sure that McDermott will be the coach when they finally win a Super Bowl with him.
  12. If the season goes south for any reason, I wonder if Terry fires McDermott but retains Beane or he cleans house and gets rid of both of them. In the latter scenario Terry would probably need a consultant to come in and help him hire the new GM/HC. Or Beane will lead the search for the next HC assuming they do move on from McDermott. I can't see Terry leading the search for the next management team. Despite being the owner, he is a football fan not a "football man".
  13. Nope they need to be better. With McDermott calling the shots on D this will all come back on him now if they fail again
  14. Taron Johnson did have that 100-yard INT that sealed the win against the Ravens in the playoffs.
  15. Better play at LOS on both sides of the ball. Last year in the Super Bowl both the Eagles and Chiefs had the #1 and #2 OL's in the league. The Bills were ranked #26. On defense they need to do a better job getting after the QB as well as stopping the run.
  16. Same. That was Moe, Larry, Curly stuff right there. Starting at their own 25 and they get into FG range. I wouldn't care if the Chiefs had 100 timeouts. It's still 13 seconds. You just don't lose in that situation.
