It was one game and we.... won. yes, Our D needs to ramp up but they will over a few games. Lots of rookies, new players, missing Hoecht, the fear of who is CB2 etc etc. No preseason work. It will take a few games. They will be fine. Gonna be a GREAT season.

What a win! I chalk the first halfg up to a preseason game for both teams. Second half was more realistic. That was a dogfight! Our pass rush was solid all night! They were getting the ball out FAST and running. Our pass rush will be dominant all year if they play like last night! It's our LB's and Safeties that are weakish.

Yep, it's a big game! I'm pumped. After watching last nights game it's on boys! We will be fine and ready! Gonna be a battle but we are a better team IMO.

I watched Elam closely. Other than than him getting beat on that one deep pass, he played great! He actually shut his side of the field down and made some good tackles too. I was surprised. He isn't awesome - but he sure has improved. I thought he looked good.

I thought they would pick on him (Elam), especially after the long pass completion that setup the TD. But they didn't. I watched him like a hawk. The dude was all over his assignment! He shut down his side of the field. Unreal! Made some good tackles too.

I kept a close eye on Elam. Other than the long pass in the 2nd Q, he was actually glued to his man. I was surprised to see him start and play OK.
