Yes, Bernard was suspect yesterday. Seems out of place. Dorian was lined up at the line, similar to Hoecht. But only for a few plays (that I saw/noticed). Did you see this too? He looked strong on the rush!

Truth! I saw them use Dorian in the same manner yesterday when Hoecht was getting a breather. Dorian at the line was bouncing around pre-snap and actually made a push on the O-line. I wonder if they will use Dorian in this role now that Hoecht is gone.

True. When Hoecht went out - McD called a very different game. Almost played it "safe" for the remainder. This tells me they know we need a solid rusher like Hoecht. They need to make a move today IMO if we want to win in the playoffs.

True - but look at what happened right after Hoecht went out. Our D was back giving us heart attacks. They said it on the broadcast - Hoecht was the doubled man, his loss was significant. This is a massive loss. beane will make a move because now we know what it could be.....

Hoecht WAS our defense yesterday. He was the reason Bosa and groot had any pressure. They doubled Hoecht a lot and he still made a corruption impact! Losing him yesterday is massive. It wrecked the win for me. I hope Beane makes a deal today somehow. My spidy phone is telling me to watch out for a trade with the Giants and Bills. Sexy Dex? hmmmm

He had that game because of Hoecht. Without Hoecht we are back to no pressure. Beane will make a move because now we all know what the solution is/was.

Hoecht being out for the season ruined my day. Our D was looking like we had something with him in there! But now? UGH. That is a HUGE loss for us. Beane HAS to make a move for a replacement for Hoecht. With him we were looking like a SB defense. Now that he is gone... brutal loss!!!!!!

He's getting older and is sure slower this year than in past seasons. I call it age. Hailey Preggers? Even if she is... Josh wouldn't play worse, or run slower like he is. So no, not a "thing". If she is second guessing marriage as stated above in this thread - then wham! That would be mental health pain for both of them. Def affect his play and attitude! I hope that isn't true and he's just slower due to being older and being chased by the young guns in this league. It catches up with everyone. some sooner than others. I also hear from a reliable friend that he eats a LOT of gummies.

Age for sure as well as wear-&-tear on his body I would assume. The kids are fast in this league man. Josh ain't so young anymore. He got his MVP, and I think that's it for him to be honest. DC's can gameplan for his tendencies easier than a few years ago. I won't say we are predictable - but not far from....

I agree - I also think/know Josh is slower this season. He doesn't have that acceleration and speed like he used to. It's noticeable.

Kincaid and Palmer have been injured. Full stop. We need both to play. Now we are talking... and Josh/Bills have no excuses with Kincaid/Palmer/Shakir/Coleman/Cook/Knox.
