What's the first position the Bills draft in 2026?
stlbills13 replied to Cash's topic in The Stadium Wall
Actually a fun topic. A lot depends on the season. If disaster struck and you're picking in the top 10 or something, any position other than QB is acceptable For this exercise I'll assume it's another pick between 28-32. QB - See above no chance RB - Very doubtful unless Cook carries us to a SB and then leaves and the front office feels we need a new Cook WR - Always possible. Probably 2nd most likely for me. TE - Even if Kincaid flames out they'll be scared to try that again OL - I actually would spend a 1st rounder here. You can never have too much talent and depth. But Kromer magic probably pushes this to later rounds DE - Always should be an option and it's going to be a need even if Jackson is a stud DT - Probably not unless Oliver turns himself into a cut candidate LB - I think this is most likely. Milano is a cut candidate. They don't seem to love Dorian. Everyone else is a JAG CB - Max and Strong get more time NCB - Another potential need but this feels like one they try to fill in house S - If Bishop busts then for sure -
In the one practice I got to see my (uneducated) opinion on CB2 was Max has the physical traits but not the feel yet Tre has the feel but lacking in the physical traits Max needs reps. We win a Super Bowl with Max's ceiling, not Tre's high floor. But we really need Tre for 17+ games too

The question really wasn't anything bad or difficult, I think Josh just misunderstood. I have no strong opinion either way on Maddy in general but I actually like her more after she was proven right about Diggs.

Training Camp News - Around the League version
stlbills13 replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't want the headache but I more don't want the chiefs or ravens to get him. The chiefs probably won't as they value the locker room. The ravens probably will -
Most encouraging news is Bishop running with the 1's. Still think he is incredibly important to what McD likes to do defensively. White vs Max will be an awesome battle that will probably last all season. All Sanders hype gets me going in ways that aren't appropriate They seem to LOVE Grable. Maybe our OT depth isn't too bad Joshua Palmer is going to be a factor SVPG is going to play himself off the roster if he can't stay healthy

Training camp should get me excited but I'm too negative about the fear of injury. Bubble wrap Josh, the offensive line, Benford, Milano, and Bernard. Amazon has a decent deal on bubble wrap right now actually.

Who is going to training camp and what day?
stlbills13 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wanted to go so bad but my wife says the fact that we are about to buy a new house means I can't spend money on "practice tickets"................ -
You gotta pressure Mahomes and Burrow up the middle. You just have to. Sanders give us a chance to do that. I watched him a lot in college and he jumps out on the screen.

Think he's the rookie I'm most excited for

Bengals 1st RD Pick could go back to College?

He can make millions in college these days too. But it would still be a bad decision. -
Predict Most improved/Most likely to regress
stlbills13 replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Improved: Offense: Spencer Brown becomes a top 2 RT in the game. Defense: Cole Bishop becomes the next long-term safety in McD's system Regressed: Offense: James Cook statistically regresses (less TD's) but the player who actually regresses is Dion Dawkins (solid year just not what we've seen lately) Defense: Taron Johnson showed regression last year and it amplifies this year. -

Who is on the Mt. Rushmore of Bills Special Teams

I think the new TE Hawes will be the star of camp

I always find these types of comments funny. As if a player who lost in the playoffs wouldn't want to win the next time he played

This is dumb but I may need $50M. I'm talking never work again, dream house/location, kids are financially set, etc.

Shedur Sanders Make To Round 5? (Poll) - UPDATED x 3
stlbills13 replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's definitely gonna throw for 3 TD's and 300 yards as an injury replacement for Flacco in about week 4 and lead a huge comeback and all week we'll hear about how wrong all the teams were. Then he'll even out to being a replacement level QB in his next start and the rest of the way -
Maybe I've developed a drinking problem this offseason but every single time I see this thread title I read it as: "Mini-Camp: A James Cook Bartender"

Von didn't live up to the contract but I was fine with the swing Beane took. And it wasn't all Von's fault. But it's time to let the kids play

I don't judge any fans and I welcome them all honestly. I've supported the Bills since I was 6 when I randomly won a Bills football from a claw machine here in St Louis. I will admit that I've actually made an effort to go to games since Allen and have more financially supported the team since then too. But I'm coming up on 30 years as a fan this year.
