  1. I've been there 3 or 4 times (friends in the area) and i really like going to that stadium. I envy you guys. Please enjoy and be safe.
  2. What I always found funny about that incident, which in my memory was that Kelly said Harbaugh was too often injured, was that the talking heads gave JH an "attaboy, way to stick up for yourself!" after punching Kelly...but proved Kelly's point by breaking his hand in the process.
  3. Even if the Bills draft a stud QB in the draft I fully expect Fitz to be the starting QB on opening day next year and for quite a few games after that. On top of that I truly don't think we will see an abysmal day from Fitz from now on. No stat line at the end of a game that is going to read: 13-36, 87 yards, no TDs, 3 picks. I believe he has progressed to the point that his "bad games" are games that are just OK in the grand scheme.
  4. True, but considering his obstacles just to get playing time and starting time after being the leading rusher last year it does say something. GO FREDDY, GO!!
  5. Nothing big or noteworthy in this thread. Just a hope for a player a lot of us like quite a bit to get those 80 yards per game from here on out and top 1,000 yards for the second straight season. That's it.

  7. If it is true though, May Day, throw this in with the "Tampa didn't play its first regular season game in Buffalo until 33 years after they were founded" category of weird anomaly records.
  8. I actually first thought about this a few years ago: Cincinnati has not defeated Buffalo in a game that counts since the AFC Championship Game in January 1989, more than 21 years ago. Sure, we have only played them, I believe 8 times during the regular season since then and we did lose to them in a preseason game, but I have never heard of any other set of teams where one has not beaten the other for 21 years. The one that really told a bit of the tail was a lousy Mularkey team going into Cincy and beating the eventual North Division champs in 05. The most recent; JP's great game against them (maybe his best as a Bill) at the Ralph. Maybe it has been done before but I don't think there is any other current streak longer than this one. No biggy, just something I've thought about whenever we play Cincy.

I'm sorry, was Johnson supposed to say, "No, no, no, don't ask me about anything that is working on our offense and between Fitz and I, we're 0-8 so I should put my head down in shame and go sulk away and you guys can keep going on with what you guys have been saying about us since we were, 0-1, 0-2, 0-3, 0-4,0-5, 0-6,0-7, and now, 0-8." Yeah, it was an a**hat comment by Schopp. The thing that makes it no big deal is that Schopp is an a**hat either way. EDIT: On this board are we really going to start jumping on a guy who is in his first full season as starter and in the top 20 in three receiving categories and top 13 in two? I mean, really?
  10. With all do respect, if Fitz has an above 85 QB rating, 22 or so TDs and 16 or less Int. I wouldn't give Brohm a look at s***. He can duke it out with Levi next year for 3rd string.
  11. I hear ya, as I stated in my original thread. However, it isn't necessarily the case as 4 teams would still have winning records, 2 would have losing records and 1 would be at .500, and the worst teams we played would still have 3 wins.

  13. BTW on a side note, that other embarrassment to the NFL, the Oakland Raiders, the team we Bills fans normally say, "wooh, at least we're not the Raiders!", are 4-4.
  14. Sure I know, you take away their victories against us and it is a slightly different story and it is no excuse for us being without a win. Still, when you realize that no team we've played this year has a losing record then you can be slightly amazed at how difficult our schedule has been. Throw in the Bears at 4-3 and that gets us halfway through a season without any losers on he schedule. As it stands now we only have 4 teams with losing records on our schedule (Detroit, Cincy, Cleveland and Minnesota). A chance at wins or a chance just to look better? We'll see. Go Bills! EDIT: Five teams that we've played (GB, Pats, Jets, Ravens, KC) are on pace for at least 10 wins. EDIT: Went in to Edit my topic to say (but damn), but I was not able to gain access to it. I didn't know we could do that anymore.
  15. Respectfully disagree. Losman's worst offense was that he wasn't very good...everything else was controlled by the Bills, even having some affect on his results as an NFL QB (Coaching, line, etc.). Maybin can't even get on the field. To more accurately compare Losman and Maybin, Losman's ineptitude would've had to have rsien to the level of never appearing on the field as a starter and never throwing a TD (in other words, Maybin's 20 games without a start and no sacks). Hell, as bad as he was as a QB there were still a couple of games that he just plain won for us...no such comparison with Maybin.
  16. Yeah, I mean even Booker Moore (FB, 1st round draft pick, Penn St., '82) did something after missing his rookie year with a nerve disorder...until Maybin, I thought he was the worst.
  17. Yeah, I agree. If he finishes with 80+ grabs and 12TDs a bonus is probably warranted. However, talk of trying to lock this guy up long term is a little early.
  18. If Fitz stays where he is at (#2 rated QB), with numbers in the 27+ range for TDs, regardless of how the Bills finish I think it would be difficult for others to leap frog him out of a pro-bowl spot.
  19. Man, I'd like to see Wade back as DC. There is no one left from that regime that was responsible for his demise. ...well, other than Ralph.
  20. Man, I hate to say it, but I really could live with 2-14, #1 pick overall and a majority of our games being really competitive/interesting.
