  1. Wow. In Texas. Nicely done! Your Sister: "Yeah, 14 years without a playoff appearance. So what? That 's MY team...always. GO BILLS!"
  2. RJ, nicely done, correct!! Lollipop to be presented immediately subsequent to the Bills' Super Bowl victory!
  3. Guys, seriously, if he is worth as much as you guys say then, if I may quote the late john Butler, this is one fat man dancin' a jig. I'd love to be wrong and I hope you are right. Side trivia: a lollipop if any of you guys remember who butler was talking about when he said the above? no cheating, but I can't stop you if you do...and there is no lollipop.
  4. Where has there even been an estimate over that amount? I thinker a safer estimate is that he is at about 3.3 billion. No, I would love that to be true and no worries as we are all hoping for the same thing. I don't understand, though, how some people over the last few weeks have previously done math, wherein he's worth so much, sells an asset that already had value, and then some think that it is brand new net worth. If part of my worth is a $50,000 car and I sell it for $50,000 I am definitely more liquid, but I am still worth the same. In no news report did I ever see that that $1.75 billion land sale started out as, say $200 million or so, in equity. I know he sold it for 1.75. I just don't know what it was valued at before he sold it.
  5. Rogers family: 7.4 billion Tanenbaum: 1 billion ---------------------------------- 8.4 billion TPegs: 3.9 billion at the highest estimate
  6. Let's not kid ourselves, this is bad news. They will regroup with the almost double in billions that TPegs has, all without having jbj in the way as a soft walleted front man.
  7. This made me laugh. ...man, look at us all as fans. Marv's right. It is appropriate (Oxford Book of ballads on Bartleby): "‘Fight on, my men!’ says Sir Andrew Barton, ‘I am hurt, but I am not slain; I’le lay me downe and bleed a-while, And then I’le rise and fight again. "
  8. Come on now. Reasonable. Reeeeassssonaable.
  9. My bad, thank you jboys. EDIT: BTW, in my opinion (and many others) still the greatest video of the MTV era.
  10. Rubes, I'm not kidding you, although I have Rinehart in there at two your above was my true contender for #1, but you still have to have someone to throw to him.
  11. Don't we have to cut a lot more do get down to 53? Only then do we add 10 to the PS.
  12. Little Caveat: The previous year's team without them: Kelly - '85 Bills 2-14 EJ - '12 Bills 6-10
  13. It is weird to look back and think that he might be the best of the three coaches. ...man, where are we? Seriously.
  14. ...and you could go back in time the last, let's say 5 years just once, what would you advise the Bills (or who are we kidding) or what would you rather DEMAND the Bills to do? (Note: it should be reasonable...I know, I know, we are talking about a time machine here, but still...reasonable) The first and maybe easiest thing that comes to mind is to take Russell Wilson in the third round. If for some reason they did not listen to me and I have to get something out of my time travel escapade...then sign Chad Rinehart to a two year, two million dollar deal, with one million guaranteed...and not listen to his or others' stupid excuses about following a coach out West, as the last time I checked, money still talks.
  15. I hate you BBM1, because it sounds like you speak the truth and Bills bad and stupid-self-inflicted luck all in one comment above. Please let me blame the messenger because it is getting boring blaming this team. ...just kidding, brother. BTW, someone should be all over the name "Sammy's Ribs" for their board name.
  16. Vegas, when they've shown the screen on TV I've wondered whether they are going to spread gameplay or replay over the entire screen like you see at some of the other stadiums (Cincy). I take it from what you are saying that is not the case and that IS disappointing.
  17. I gotta tell ya, if we are talking initially a third string QB there are a few of those guys I would be interested in. Quick question, and I don't believe there is a chance of this happening and I don't like him as an option at QB, but how many of you would swap TJ for Mallet given that both teams are trying to dump these guys?
  18. I am glad he admitted it, and this is a move in the right direction. However, if he had the ability to suspend for longer I just don't know how, knowing what he knew, he could sign off on two games and been ok with that. Once I signed my name I couldn't help but think, "man, I am letting someone off the hook and it feels wrong."
  19. Oh, I agree with you completely, C-Bisc about the Pats rip cord on vets, but as you mention above I also agree that it is a decent risk for the Bucs.
  20. Man, I know the season hasn't started yet, but the more I look at them (for obvious reasons lately) the more impressed I am am with at least the direction of the Bucs.
  21. The Bills always stressed that he was a mobile QB, but not a running QB. Meaning that he was elusive and could throw on the run, but that he is not necessarily a rushing QB.
  22. You're top two are the ones that keep me up at night, Gugny. If I were to tack on a third, it would be OLine, including the OLine coach. Are we better off there than we were during the Chan Gailey years? It doesn't seem like it.
  23. Are you kidding, Juice? This issue has me bouncing off the walls! WE need the season to begin, badly!
