  1. 54.5 completion percentage, but 8.45 yards per attempt...I like it!!! I would go under 50 yards rushing, but maybe more than 40. No rushing TD.
  2. Frankly, ESPN shouldn't be laughing at anybody.
  3. I would be in on it being Kap. I can't believe I am saying that, albeit I was never a "never Kap" person. However, all it takes is one half of Nate to change my tune. I'll take that circus above and beyond a 2-14 circus, if he can honestly help this team. Let me just add this would be in case Allen (knock on wood) gets hurt.
  4. elltrain, skins makes a good point. I know Oliver and Bosa are suppose to be special players, but I think FA is going to be a little tough to get even some of what we need. ...yeah, I move down. They really do need about 6 starters in the first 100 picks, or so.
  5. In his defense it wasn't in his hands. Allen put it in a place where it is almost impossible to think that anyone in this world would drop it. ...almost anyone.
  6. Honestly, this is not hindsight. I wanted to sign EJ when it looked like it was down to 5-6 million. I'd rather have two health risk CBs on the opposite side of Tre than just one.
  7. There's a reason why it is in AFI's top ten comedies of all time. Because it deserves it.
  8. Knock on wood. knock on wood hard. Beating the s*** out of a piece of wood with my head! That being said, if anything were to happen to Allen...what the hell, why not. I'd do it.
  9. I hate that I agree with this. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!
  10. Well, that tasted like ash. UB plays Eastern Michigan at home on Saturday to go to 3-0.
  11. Ugh! Try gaming youtube. Seriously, I'd check in.
  12. Gregg, keep doing this every week. I'm in. Also, think about recording it for YouTube, or putting it up on mixer or twitch and letting us know when you are on.
  13. Until I saw your comment I too was going to write I've never seen Peterman quit.

  14. I know, right? Jeepers creepers. If only he had the insight to draft a Tom Brady in the 6th round or Carson Wentz 2nd overall. Personally, even before he got there, I think the Broncos missed a golden opportunity to pick Eli Manning first overall in 2004.
  15. @YoloinOhio Yolo, wasn't he also quoted as saying during the same interview that he doesn't want his punter punting any farther out than inside the other teams 40 as he is worried about returns for a TD? Also that he is the inventor of the Hail Mary Running Play?
  16. Who could use him? Who is that close and needs a RB? Who has the cap space for the 14.5 million? For a year rental (seemingly) it could be as high as a two, but it could be worth it if you are that close.
  17. Yolo, buddy, I absolutely get this, and sympathize with the players getting upset. However, does this change anything with the Steelers? Before he said he was coming in were they about to pull the trigger on a trade for a new RB and he screwed them? Sure he said it, but he may have stepped back and been just down right pissed about his situation. He was out last week and he is out this week. I still believe he is coming in, though...could he be maneuvering for a trade, though?
  18. The thing is too, SouthNY, I believe last year they may have been able to get away with a 5 year sixty-five million dollar deal with maybe 32-35 million guaranteed and they'd be 2/3 of the way through the guaranteed money at the end of this year, depending upon how it is structured.
  19. Come on down under, you know you have to do that with the dumb and dumber gif!
  20. @SouthNYfan A RB's career is shorter as we know and these players live for that one big deal after their rookie deal. There is usually no substantial deal after that for a RB and the Steelers are robbing him or bleeding him of those best contract years by throwing him singular bones until they are done with him. It isn't right. I'm usually not on the players side (maybe I should be) but it just plain isn't right at all, and I'm not buying the "but it's 14.5 million, and he knows how this works" argument. Because he knows how this works and because it is a large amount of money to us doesn't make it right.
  21. Ah shucks, Vader, I didn't buddy. My bad. Editing shortly. I was scanning too quickly.
  22. CT, I think because it is the most bunker mentality of all the Leagues. The brotherhood of being in the trenches.
  23. Edit: the below is correct, but bone headed response on my part for not checking what MV was responding to. @Mark Vader No, a Detroit fan born and raised. Why do you think we played them so much in the preseason all those years.
  24. ...and you know they would kick him to the curb, and do you know what the overall reaction would be? oh well, that's the game. I am honestly the last of the bleeding hearts and I don't even like Bell, but it surprises the hell out of me how much I am in his corner on this one. They were F'ing around with him for two years, but now like a good little soldier he has to show up because it's time to get "serious". I don't blame him one bit for giving them the middle finger until the very last moment.
  25. Back to back playoffs, plus our cash, will bring the free agents. ...and it will feel great.
