A Few Thoughts About the Titans Game, in no particular order
nosejob replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
My M.O. against the Fish is to lay the wood to Tua early and often. Get him queasy and rattled....if not take him out. I never expected the first 2 games to be blowouts, but this one, that's what I am hoping for. Our Dline should be able to wreak havoc against that Oline. -
I'm hoping for an A.J De'ja vu (sp?) hit on Tua. One more game of double digit wins and the Bills break a 70 year old record.... Not that that's more important than a W, but a good smackdown to put them in their place would be great.

Edmunds…back to back good games. Facts. (Update: Another good game)

That absolutely did not need to happen. He could have hurt Milano last week. JMO -

LMAO! I like that one. I hope he doesn't end up taking Milano out. -
9/19/22 Gameday Titans at Bills Week 2 Pregame Thread MNF!

Yeah Dorsey is a little different cat than Dabol. I get the feeling he really wants to punish opposing defenses and I do believe I'm ok with that. -

I'm hoping they hit some swing passes in the flats to Singletary and Cook and gas em early. I'd like to see Isaiah get mixed in a little. I'm also curious if they'll play a little 4-3 and get a look at Bernard. -
Is there any way to watch other than amazon prime? I'M sorry I'm older. i haven't done the prime thing.

Well it's at K.C. so gotta give the W to them. 31-24

GR reporting both Tim Settle and Ed Oliver not practicing today
nosejob replied to richNjoisy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I 'm confident that Dorsey will adjust according to week to week opponents and I have been critical of Frazier doing the same. However, I'm hoping that they've finally evolved. He may be still committed to rushing 4 only and that's fine since we may be finally able to do it, but if we're down a man or 2 in the middle, we'll see how good of a D game plan McFrazier can put together. This week is obvious...stop Henry, force 3rd and longs. Get the picks. I feel fairly confident that given Saffold's experience and familiarity along with Morse and Bates, as well as Qberry's input we can handle it....against Simmons that is. -

I think if need be they need to move Shaq and Boogie inside. They can be creative and be fine. I'm also hoping they activate Bernard and run some 4-3 on early downs. I expect more get rid of the ball quick from Allen and perhaps Mckenzie gets some plays and YAC....set up the deep ball. They will need to keep Knox back to help block again, They always seem to be able to keep a fairly clean pocket when they do that. Who knows, do we see Shakir this week? -
Miami usually plays the Ravens tough, but who cares about anyone but the Bills. If we can get to 2-0.....train horn.
-
Duly noted....how many QB hits/ sacks did he have?
-
Well so was A.D.....allegedly. We have the coach who coached the Rams players and line and we also have the guys who went against the Titans front four. I like our chances. I hope our Oline wants to punish them and make a statement. I was critical of Beane and his addressing of the Oline this off season. I do believe that is gonna be the point of emphasis this next year due to layering the contracts smartly, so I'm cool with that. The thing I'm learning to dig is that Saffold makes Dion and Morse better....Morse and Brown make Bates better.....my point is they all fit like 5 fingers on a glove. They are all making the guy next to them good. It's a reciprocal thing. Now I'm starting to see the reasoning behind what they're doing.
-
Yeah I get that but I think this game is gonna give them big heads for Mon. nite's game....especially the Dline.
-
The Titan's D is looking kinda tough against the Giants. I'm happy we got Saffold and Qberry ( even though Brown is starting.) That should help at least with preparation. I hope we run the ball down their throats.....after a few quick scores.
-
I believe they made big upgrades, but as mentioned before they need to know when the Nickel is not effective or needed. Teams are gonna try to establish the run vs. us and Taron can't handle the bigs backs. IMO if Frazier really wants to get mad respect, he should be able to form a 4-3 and adjust to the particular opponent. I'd also like to see Bernard in action..... Can you imagine playing a team like the Titans or Balt., etc. and having an instinctive head hunting LB blowing up a running game?

What games are you interested to watch this weekend?
nosejob replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
I sure hope so! That Carolina defense is no joke and I believe they signed cheap shot Henry Anderson to add with Burns. Pat's win the first one and Miami always upsets them later in the year in Foxboro. -
Thoughts on the Cusp of a Magical Season

If we go 2-0 the train horn will start to sound. Keep the train rollin......all night long -

True....and that's coming from someone whose glasses were covered with rain in November hoping the Bills could break an 0-8 record. ( Ironically we were parked 10 ft. from the bar door and people were willing to pay 20 over the ticket price. She drug me in anyway. I pleaded to go in the bar, watch the game from every angle on multiple big screens and eat wings until we puked.) I learned a Man lesson there. -

All that nonsense aside, I believe Josh remembers those stupid losses and won't let it happen again. -

Post of the year!....Bruh -
I'm guessing...Morse, Bates and Brown pull to the right and mow a path for Motor with Knox taking out somebody. Hopefully Brown doesn't get called with a personal foul. Motor out of bounds after a 9 yd. pickup. 2nd and 1, masterful fake, Josh hits Knox over the middle for 15.

Buffalo songs and rituals for celebrating Bills victories
nosejob replied to buffalonian's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it would be cool if they blasted the Train sound lead in and rhythm guitar to Aerosmith's Train kept a rollin....especially after we are 2-0 -
I don't know if I like saying this, but we could be starting the greatest QB battles of all time. Wow. I'm 59 and have never seen such a talent stacked conference. This is gonna be NFL history this year!
