This is where I like Maason Smith. 6'6" 315 can play anywhere and draws comps. to Calais Campbell. Could also have some Chris Jones to him. If we can get him at 128?

I'm thinking DL or WR rd. 1 barring a trade back. I can't see them moving up more than 4 picks if at all. That being said, I think Thomas is out by late teens. Mitchell and Worthy not long after. Would they go with Legette given the one yr. production and knowing he's be pretty much 30 by 2nd contract time? Would they value McConkey enough for the 5 yr. deal? As far as DL goes, I like Murphy and Newton, but why go 3 tech there? If they can go to 24 or 26 and get a game wrecking Latu for a 2 yr. old injury discount, it's Christmas in April. They can find 2 WRs a little later. We need to hit on DE, DT and at least one WR. Latu , McConkey, Sweat and Walker. Call me happy. BB will have to wheel and deal and I think he will.

I shouldn't have said Dumb. If they took Q.Mitchell, I'd understand for sure...if for some reason, he made it to us. That guy's got all pro stank. I'd prefer Latu. Not expecting Thomas to even get close.

Walker will be the next Jaylen Waddle. ..or more. My picks are: Trade a 4th to Tb for 26 or even 4th and whatever to Jerry for 24. Get Latu ( given that Thomas jr. is long gone.) We need another Bruce and this guy is a cross between a Bosa and Seau. NFL.com comparison is T.J. Watt. Perfect, since Miller will be out next year. ....and we replace Floyd all in one shot. Trade next years 1st for a 2nd and 3rd this year, get Sweat 2 WRs and Maason Smith....the next Calais Campbell. BPA after. Give me Burton and Walker...or Legette and Walker or Polk and Walker, IDC.

Gimme Legette, Polk, Burton, Walker, Baker...etc. I'm gonna put my confidence in the FO. Wouldn't be surprised Brady gets Thomas nor surprised at McD getting Latu. Hoping for the latter myself.

Which is why we need to get Latu 1st. I'm gonna trust BB to get a good complimentary duo of WRs. I could go with several options. I gotta stop re-reading all the profiles and just relax til the draft. I would bet money BB will create at least 2 additional picks for day 2. I would gladly use next yrs. 1st.

I agree and heard quite a bit of talk about the communication issue. I also believe Edwards is actually a better LG than McGovern. Running left this year is gonna be bread and butter. Also, I think Cyrus is gonna become dominant thanks to the schooling he got from the likes of Wilkins.

When we land Latu, Sweat and Maason Smith, we'll forget about Reddick. He's due for an injury. I really wanted Huff.

There's also been talk about Simmons being available post draft. I wouldn't mind Hyde back. I do however think we can find 2 quality prospects later in the draft...hopefully.

If this looks to be a thing he won't be the pick. I like Bleacher Report scouting reports and one thing I like to look for is the comments that the prospect looks to make himself available to the QB. To me that is a must have work ethic.

Or let's say Chop or Darius are there at 28...Would AZ, move up from 35 for 77 or 90? Or would GB 41 and 88? ATL. for 43 and 79? Or even dropping 3 spots to SF for a late 3rd comp. pick? Like I said in a post before, my ideal is moving up maybe 2 spots with TB for a 4th (Latu) and next years 1st to GB for 41 and 88. I'd throw back a 5th to make that happen. We end up with 4 picks in the top 100, plus rds. 4-7 to find those hidden gems at CB/S and OL. Latu Sweat 2WRs then BPA the rest of the way.

I'm looking at it a little differently. Sure use next years 1st,but do it to get a 2nd and 3rd. There are a few teams with 2 of both. If I'm moving up in the 1st, it's only gonna be a couple of spots where I can use a 4th.

I should have added the caveat of BB using next years 1st to create another 2nd and 3rd. We won't sit idly by from 60 to 128.

If I'm BB, I'M trading a 4th to TB and grabbing Latu. If it weren't for the injury history...prior to 2 years of being the best DE in the country, he'd be a top 10 pick. There's no DE even in the same ballpark. Diggs may have a pro bowl year and be back in 25. Miller won't. Latu would be a steal. I could live with McConkey and Walker. Combining Latu with Groot and A.J while learning from Von...yum.

But after listening to the radio, it looks like there's at least a dozen Olimen worthy of higher rd. picks. We gotta dress, what 46-53? We should concentrate on impact players and not players for other teams to poach...JMO We have an almost entire Oline in waiting. We need a Bruce Smith, Eric Moulds/Lee Evans or Leonard Smith. I say F=it and use next year's 1st to do it. We need to make an extra 2nd and 3rd this year!

I voted NO....However I would trade next years 1st to one of the teams with two 2nds and two 3rds....and, if there's say a Chop or QB sitting there at 28, I'm looking to trade a couple of spots to SF for one of their compensatory 3rds and taking Legette. That would give us: 31 SF 41 GB 60 88 GB 100? SF 128 133 6 picks through 4 rounds. This is the year for BB to really build a quality young core for the future. Worth no. 28 next year? Hell yeah!
