  1. Truly bizarre analysis even for a fan board. Alas, hope springs eternal.
  2. Chiefs have an edge at QB, OL, WR, TE, RB, LB, and CB. Probably also DL or call it a push.
  3. Good news on Doyle. I want him to get a fair shake at this thing.
  4. Ok. But the offense needed an upgrade. Also, McKenzie was released.
  5. There’s a difference between grabbing in physical man coverage and grabbing to regain position.
  6. Essentially. Multi-year deal and $5M guaranteed. He’s a rather underwhelming replacement for McKenzie, but the Hines injury nearly guarantees his spot as a returner no matter the cap hit.
  7. No. Possible exception being Rapp in the sense he may become the star addition if he finds a hybrid role on the defense to play and contribute regularly.
  8. Fair. Perhaps that’s what saves him. That and the injury to Hines out of necessity.
  9. Beane won’t swallow a draft pick so quickly. He’ll suck that egg. Sounds like the Harty/Isabella competition got a little tighter though which is a good thing.
  10. Too bad. Worst part is it moves a scrub like Quessenberry closer to the field. Tackle situation is less than ideal.
  11. Why did Beane target K. Allen as a viable backup?
  12. I’m not. Wish some of these draft picks could develop and earn depth spots with cheaper contracts and youth.
  13. White-on-white unis are fantastic. Hopefully the blue-on-blues are in a burn pit.
  14. 1. Chiefs 2. Bengals 3. Eagles 4. Ravens 5. Dolphins Dangerous outsiders: Jags, Lions, Browns
  15. Of course he’ll play. Likely close to a half against the Steelers.
  16. No, I think upstart teams like the Orioles can give the Braves a good run.
  17. I don’t buy this. I’m sure GMs develop hypothetical trade scenarios with their buddies. It’s part of the job. But Beane targeting a TE is a stretch. That run on WRs was no coincidence.
  18. No pending UFAs are worth extending at this point. The priority may become DaQuan Jones. And here’s hoping Rapp earns his keep.
  19. Overpaying Davis now, on a cap-strapped roster, in case he has a good season is inane.
  20. Elam has been “handsy” since college. That instinct may change with coaching and experience. May be a reason they don’t trust him yet.
  21. I can't imagine fringe players like Epenesa, Basham, Doyle, Lewis, etc. would have much demand around the league. But you're always hoping for a 5th at best in these scenarios.
  22. Patriots have the only decent OL in the division. 🤔
  23. Fields is an elite athlete. And the Bears added some decent WRs and finally building the OL. Curious to see if he takes the next step as a passer. That new regime seems on the right track.
