Ross could loose more than the team. He was the owner of a sports betting business at the time of this (see link below). If they can prove he was paying to throw games while running a sports betting business that stood to make $ on those losses, that's a federal racketeering indictment & a possible prison term. Long way to go to get evidence to prove it. But w/ NFL getting into the gambling business this could get to be an issue pretty quickly. https://www.yogonet.com/international/news/2019/11/29/51709-nfl-39s-miami-dolphins-39-owner-stephen-ross-invests-in-sports-betting-startup

LA market not in top 10 for SB TV ratings
Donuts and Doritos replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
No way. That fair weather fan nonsense is for the weak. If I stick it out & live & die with every play & get back up each time this team lets me down, then, 1 day, 1 glorious day when they finally win it all, that victory will be that much sweeter, bc I will have earned it living through those tough times. See there's nothing wrong with being a die hard fan it's completely healthy. -
AFC teams unclutch in playoffs
Donuts and Doritos replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
With how much more young QB talent the AFC has over the NFC & how much more potent the AFC offenses appear in general, it's surprising how poorly those AFC offenses & QBs have faired against the NFC in the last 2 super bowls. -
Noticed they were pushing electric cars hard. The Scarlet Johansen, Colin Jost commercial was funny. But Larry David or the Big Lebowski we're the best IMO.

Quinton Spain comments on release from the Bills
Donuts and Doritos replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Spain had laid down like a speed bump he'd of obstructed Donald's path to the QB better than he did as a blocker. Terrible whiff at critical moment. & His reaction after... No accountability. Glad he's not a Bill. Doubt he'll be a Bengal for long. -

Sean McVay considering stepping away from coaching?
Donuts and Doritos replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Either: His ego has outgrown LA & only a national job, where everyone can marvel at his "genius" will do now. Or He knows the house of cards in LA collapses after this & is getting out while the getting is good. -
Unrealistic question, it would take a lot more than this to trade to #1 (try like three 1sts & 2nds) to go from 25 to 1. The question is would you be willing to trade all of that for a swing at 1 player who may or may not pan out & will take a few years to develop, while our Superbowl window is open now. It's a no brainer the answer is no. & Beane isn't going to do it. So let's stop with the silly questions.

I guess I'd say they're innocent your Honor, except for that Pats equipment guy, in the bathroom playing with the balls & an air needle. Plus none of Indy's balls (which were not invited to go to the bathroom) didn't have the same problem. That's tough to explain... But I guess Florio & the Boston Media will write next that the equipment guy was known to wash Tom's balls in the bathroom during games. Still not buying it. Guilty (but didn't matter they'd have won the games anyway, which is why it was stupid cheating).

Should there be an NFL Lottery?

Leave the draft alone. Punish the offenders badly enough & no one will "tank" again. -
Aaron Rodgers to the Titans ?? [Titans say "No"]
Donuts and Doritos replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall
While I don't believe it either, Tannehill's contract factors in. See below: "Titans are $6.6 million over the projected 2022 cap. If they trade Ryan Tannehill, they would free up $10.2 million in space, but eat $28.4 million in dead money. Tannehill's new team would pick him up on a two-year, $56 million deal, with $29 million guaranteed (all in 2022)." https://twitter.com/billbarnwell/status/1489803530126962690?s=20&t=zmX_2MSjdbA5ligSZdEgYw -
Will the Titans go after Mitch Trubisky?
Donuts and Doritos replied to notwoz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Please no Rodgers to Tenn or in Indy for that matter. Stay in the NFC AA-Ron. -
Brian Flores suing NFL, NY Giants, Dolphins, Broncos.
Donuts and Doritos replied to BillsFan4's topic in The Stadium Wall
Billy Belichick is absolutely getting deposed & called to testify. Be interesting to see if he confirms that he knew Daboll had the job early as the texts suggest, or if he takes one for the NFL & says he was just "speculating" (in which case the suit falls apart). Belichick is in an uncomfortable spot. Wonder if Dolphins get in trouble w/ the league. & Schoen is definitely off to a rocky start. While I get the suit & why Flores brought it, I don't get why he threw in the bit about Daboll not getting along w/ McD. Seems unnecessary for the suit & just a mean spirited attempt to attack Daboll, who frankly isn't at fault for what Giants management may have done (he was just the other guy trying to get the job). Kind of ***** deal for Daboll who now starts under a cloud of controversy w/ a question about the legitimacy of his hire. This whole thing will be messy for the NFL, wonder if it will translate into any real change. -
Wow, Flores is swinging a bit wild, trying to torch as many people as possible. Thought he was a good coach who got a raw deal, should have a head coaching gig & should be frustrated about how things have turned out, but this whole burn the entire world down thing... comes off a bit too cray cray. Not sure how much of the tell all gossip to believe.

Good. Allen got his guy. Now let's giddy up & go get it.

POLL: Which ad are you happier NOT to be seeing lately?
Donuts and Doritos replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sick of every other commercial saying gamble online right now, then immediately warning to seek help if I have a gambling problem. Leaves me sooo conflicted. -
Mahomes wasn't as good as he was in our game. Vinci's D played better overall than we did. But I thought our Offense had an easier time & performed better. Most importantly Cinci didn't make the mistakes in crucial moments like we did, it was KC that made those mistakes instead.

Are you excited about the Superbowl matchup ?
Donuts and Doritos replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nope. Not excited at all. -
A flag would have been nice too
Donuts and Doritos replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I had a bigger issue with the entire secondary failing to stop him from scoring. He makes an amazing play like that he can flash whatever he wants, he earned it IMO. Stop him & he won't flash anything. (Plus we scored on the next drive anyway so I don't see the penalty doing much to help us there other than giving them 30 seconds at the end of the game instead of 13). -
So it's official he's gone? Woot woot! Great career, he was the Goat, owned us, 7 SBs, blah blah blah... Didn't care for him, glad he's gone!
-
Wait, he's back? What a tease. This week is just filled with disappointment.

Bye! C-ya Tommy!
