Edmunds is switching to weak side in Chicago. He’s not a MLB. We key-holed him at Mike. I’m curious to see what he does at Will because that’s his (more) natural fit. I know I will not miss him as he has been the single most divisive player on the team that I can recall. Nobody ever says “The most popular guy on the team is the backup Mike…”, right? It’s all disgusting. You can’t hold someone who’s emotionally unstable accountable for anything. I’m waiting for case law to declare cell phone use is a recognized disability and affords kids protection in the workplace via the ADA. I’ve had kids (my way to describe someone who uses a cell phone for emotional support) have full-fledged meltdowns when I tell them to put it away and focus on work. (I’m in banking) Thank you. Exactly.

Beane should reach out and try to make amends. I’d imagine this is why he and coach were so drained by the whole experience. They (probably/likely) knew it was all BS but their hands were tied.
