  1. Also I believe that former Packer great Darren Sharper played WR in college.
  2. Facenda has been referred to as "The Voice of God."
  3. It was only an attempt at humor, T. Sorry. 👍
  4. Must be all those UFL games you watch. Well at least he doesn't have a pelvic injury. Can you repeat the question please?
  5. T.O. already has the keys to the city...
  6. I wish they still made Republicans like Jack Kemp. Maybe they could just take one of the turnstiles out of the old stadium and place it on a marble pedestal... Or Rob Johnson running out of bounds for a loss... that might have to be more than one statue though.
  7. You're apparently the only person on earth who didn't know that Bass was suffering from a pelvic injury. Of course the posters here have been very respectful, tasteful, and restrained on the subject. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Seriously though, I agree about the Travis Hunter trade. IMO, his impact as a WR will be limited by his defensive snaps and visa-versa. Between playing the two positions there's just too much running involved. If he divides snaps between the two positions his contribution will be limited IMO. If they try to play him more snaps than a "normal player" I think he'll be open to injury and fatigue. I wouldn't have made that trade if I were Jacksonville. Quick show of hands... how many of you guys are sporting these mansiers? Just curious.
  8. To the bolded, you should look at the poll results.
  9. Yes, for those wondering it's 1 hour and 34 minutes long. He might change his mind... you never know.
  10. "We've decided we're gonna go eat somewhere else..."
  11. I too am surprised Babich wasn't a choice and also Ralph should be somewhere in there (he's cheap).
  12. Yes, Dwight Harrison... number 28. Excellent athlete.
  13. *****! I just bought 2 PSLs yesterday!!!
  14. Fixed it for ya! "Plus" meaning above average, I predict that Bosa, Rousseau, Oliver, Sanders, and Walker are plus pass rushers. It might be that Solomon and Hoecht are too. I think there's too much here to not be a good pass rush team in 2025 and I think you'll see a lot more inside pressure from the Bills this year, and that's the best kind. I agree. Here are the Bills sack totals in the McDermott era: 2024: 39 2023: 54 2022: 40 2021: 42 2020: 38 2019: 44 2018: 36 2017: 27 The Bills have averaged exactly 40 sacks/season during his tenure. I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict 50 sacks this season.
  15. Yes, I think it was a flyer/insert to season ticket holders to renew... man did the media have a field day with that one. In fairness it was a pretty cool photo but not one you would EVER use to sell season tickets. In answer to the OP's question, I think a statue of Keon Coleman would be fitting, if redundant. 🙃
  16. Correct, in fact we received word late yesterday that the Browns were retiring Shedeur Sanders' jersey. There was even a photo and everything.
  17. Daboll never became unhinged but yesterday wasn't a test because he was given no opportunity for that to happen. He was cordial and smiling pre-game with McDermott and the game played out with the Giants in the lead and playing relatively well for the duration. Plus it was the first preseason game so there was no fuel for the fire as far as Daboll overheating.
  18. I would describe Tasker's ramblings as "Crimes against the English language." His futile attempt to wax nostalgic about the stadium was also painful to listen to. Even a team player like Catalano couldn't mitigate the verbal fumbling.
  19. While I don't agree with you on Tasker, you explained it in a way I can understand so thank you. As for Tre White, I agree wholeheartedly. On a day where many are down and doubtful about him, I'm with you in believing that he'll play well for the team this year. I'm pretty convinced of this and have thought so since he re-signed.
  20. That's weird. I could very well be wrong but I've always felt that the Bills edge players weren't coached to contain the pocket well enough. I understand the need to establish the speed rush so you can counter with power but it always seemed to me that Epenesa and Von were too often losing outside containment. I would rather emphasize containment because you can make the QB uncomfortable and antsy and try to stay in his passing and seeing lanes. But at the same time I would like to see the Bills get a bit more creative and aggressive in their pass rush. It seems like their rush schemes have been a bit too simplistic... like an offense that doesn't run enough motion.
  21. You're right that there's no evidence that Codrington will ever have more production as a cornerback than Shenault as a receiver but Shenault was never a punt returner in the NFL or in college whereas Codrington was among the NFL leaders last year. So Shenault has to prove he can handle those responsibilities in order to win that competition.
  22. He’s paid to speak. He speaks very poorly. That’s the problem.
  23. I disagree on the bolded. Different people have different standards and expectations when judging the performance of those who are paid to go behind a mic or in front of a camera and speak to large audiences. Tasker's job is not based on anything approaching merit. For people who place a high value on merit, Tasker is a tough pill to swallow... in fact I have a hard time believing that there's not an ex-Bill who could do a better job... but for whatever reasons, he got the job.
  24. Agree about Hoecht. When I saw him out there running around wasting a lot of energy, I thought maybe it was Landon Jackson. Hoecht did not look like a savvy veteran to me. It was a positive to see James Cook in uniform and going through the pregames. I hate to think of the Bills without him. To me it's a numbers game and the heavy investment in defense will pay off. Between the 3 veteran free agents and the 6 draftees, I remain optimistic that the defense will be improved. It's a matter of how improved they'll be. I seem to recall that Codrington had a nice pass breakup. Also, the Bills invested a pick when trading for him. He averaged 11.6 ypr on punts and 27.8 ypr on kicks. I think it'll be pretty close between Shenault and Codrington.
  25. True enough. Longtime Bengals kicker Jim Breech wore a size 5 kicking shoe. Still I'd like to know Little's paw size.
