We almost always are rooting for any team in our division to lose, especially if they are playing an NFC team. We also care a lot less about the outcome of a Jets game compared to the Patriots. A lot of people are hoping the Jets beat the Patriots this week just because we hate them so much even though from a standings perspective that’s not a good thing.

Not even close. Bills fans root against the Patriots even when a Patriots win would be more beneficial to us just out of pure despise.

I bet Bean can get it done for a 1st and Moss.

I remember that game well. I had seasons at the time and had for years. My then girlfriend, now wife wanted to come with me to a few games that season after we started dating a few weeks into the season. We bought tickets on stub hub for practically nothing for this one so we could sit together and I just gave my season seat to a friend in the group I would normally sit with. Its funny to think how far we have come since then with ticket demand and prices in just a few years.

Great to see Tommy lose again. Even though this make the Ravens closer to us in the standing, I was still glad to see TB12 show his age. I do like Lamar a lot. I liked his post game interview. He seems like a good guy and a talented athlete. I do wish he would hire a real agent though. Seems like he is doing himself no favors in that aspect. He’s not the most savvy or articulate guy but loves the sport. Would like to see him have some success as long as it’s not as much as our own.

A regifted gift basket.

Being just a kid during the super bowl years it was hard to appreciate what those 4 consecutive appearances meant. Being about 5 when we made it to the first one, I was just assuming we always made the playoffs and getting the the super bowl was normal… it sure was a disappointment only a few years later when I really started to understand the sport.

McD has a reputation for keeping rookies on a short leash and keeping them on the sidelines after a rookie mistake. I get the approach but sometimes I wish he would back down from that and live with mistakes in exchange for getting more talent out there. Sometimes I wonder if the benching after a mistake does more to get in the rookie's heads than sending them back out to make up for it.

Thank God, we will need those 2nd and 3rd round picks to chase our next running back.

Yeah but what do they want for Blackshear?

Is it ironic if TNF goes from not being able to score a touchdown for weeks to complete blow out? In any event, this week has been way more enjoyable than the last few.

Oh for sure I agree, it’s just a strange feeling and contrast going from our games where every possession matters and to these Thursday night games where nothing seems to get any rhythm.

With how spoiled we’ve been with Bills games lately, it feels like it’s under 2 minutes left in the 4th in all these other games.

I think Hill should be passing more.

I mean he was a super star on a few passes to Tyler Boyd a few years ago. Not sure if anything substantial ever came of it though…

Dalton was never great but he fell from pretty good to terrible pretty fast.

Not to get off topic, but in my home theater room I have all my video sources go though an external processor that upscales everything before going to the projector. That sometimes makes it hard to tell the specs on the real input signal, but it appears that the Amazon app on my Apple TV comes through in HDR. Sometimes the coloring on HDR makes things more accurate and vibrant from a coloring perspective but darker looking, especially if the picture adjustments aren’t dialed in just right. I created two memory settings on my projector to optimize between standard and HDR so I can have a one button switch between the two depending on content.

I think that’s just the lighting in the stadium. The Amazon stream looks really good on both my TV and home theater projector compared to cable.

If the Bills really wanted them, they are not necessarily mutually exclusive. OBJ as a FA at near vet minimum, only downside is who gets bumped off the roster. If Crowder out for season then it would just bump Hodgins; okay. If they could package Moss and a reasonable draft pick for CMC that would be a risk worth taking. Biggest hurdle would be restructures to manage the cap and be okay with somebody they probably won’t be able to resign. Could you imagine a starting line up in the playoffs with Davis and OBJ out wide, Diggs in the slot, CMC out of the backfield, rounded off by Knox. How do you game plan for that. Especially with Allen’s ability to run while trying to pass protect against all those weapons.

It's not exactly a great one or the other type of choices. OBJ is a free agent and we would give up nothing except whatever salary he is willing to take for a few weeks of service towards a SB push. CMC would need us to give up draft capital and/or players and cost a lot of money over several years. Either one could be a worthwhile additional but the situations are very different.

When you think about some of those mistakes combined with the injuries we battled with while playing through what was thought to be the toughest part of our schedule, it really is amazing what they have been able to overcome and the results that they achieved in the process. Many really good teams would have struggled to overcome those challenges. It should be really interesting what this team will be able to do after we clean up those mistake, get back to almost fully healthy and get into the softer parts of the schedule. I like McKenzie but I think he is best suited in the role he has been playing the few prior years for us as that speed/gadget guy with occasional plays designed specific to him. McD seems to really keep rookies down the depth chart unless he has no choice (like our early CB situation). I get having to earn the playing time, but it seems like he could be a little less conservative in this area and give Shakir a bigger role. It can't be any more risky than having to rely on McKenzie to be a consistent starter.

Maybe foreshadowing for a retractable top stadium...
