This has to be the deepest dline we’ve ever had

They've steadily gone downhill and since you said they weren't responsible for any losses, I definitely disagree about the Jets game -

They were getting pushed around by the Jets, who we allowed to run it down our throats at the worst possible time. -

They played absolutely terrible against the Jets. -
We gave up 350 to Cousins. We need him back.

Of course I don't like it. If you can't get pressure on the opposing QB when you need it, it's pointless.

Pulse check - How confident are you that we can beat the Browns

Zach Wilson shouldn't have beat the Bills either, but he did. -
If Hyde and Poyer Are Healthy, We're Undefeated

As they shouldn't. And unless you have inside info who was available that we didn't go after and not have to overpay for, this is pure speculation. -

Yeah, signing vets to ride the bench doesn't make much sense to me, especially given McD's general dislike of relying on rookies, which makes it even stranger. Who was available out there that we could've had at a price that would've made sense for us? We signed Marlowe, a guy that already knows our D, and they still played who they played yesterday. -
The few times Frazier does blitz, it's often off the corners where the blitz takes too long to actually do anything. That is just poor scheming. Even if you drive 99 yards, if you throw an INT in the endzone, what difference does it make? These poor redzone decisions have become commonplace the last few games and will continue to plague this offense if Josh doesn't just take what the D is giving instead of trying to force bad balls.

Or put more pressure on Cousins and force him into bad throws where the receiver doesn't have a chance at it. We've made Cousins yesterday and Wilson last week look much better than they actually are IMO and you give almost any NFL QB time to throw with little pressure, they are going to find a receiver.

Cleveland is not a good team, however, they do have the 5th best rushing attack in the league at just under 160 yards/game. We'll see if Frazier stubbornly sticks with the Nickel even if they do effectively run the ball on us. Pretty sure every team that blitzes know the drawbacks of it and are willing to accept those risks to try to disrupt the offense. The drawbacks of rushing only 4 are what we saw yesterday. Expecting to get consistent pressure with only rushing 4 is just not realistic against a good line.

I expect him to send more heat. If you aren't getting pressure with 4 and the other team keeps moving the ball and converting 3rd downs, what logic says to just keep doing what you're doing? If you get burned with the blitz, so be it, but at least you did something to try and stop them instead of what you were doing that wasn't working. What's going on with Josh is completely bizarre though. It all started after the bye. Clearly looking like the young, undisciplined Josh.
