  1. I'd do both. Not necessarily Hopkins. They have to seriously take under consideration that Davis isn't the answer at WR2 and didn't work out as they had hoped. Drafting a WR late in the first round, given 6 were taken by pick 20 last year, might not produce a game ready guy either. A legit WR2 might have to come via trade or FA.
  2. That's insane. That legit takes some planning and skill to pull off.
  3. Yep, I think we need to draft WR and OL, so it might as well be with the expectation that it's Davis' replacement. Maybe that even lights a fire under him, who knows. This draft should be all about getting weapons and protection for the face of the franchise.
  4. He broke his thumb, which isn't good for a RB because they can't switch the ball to the other hand. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35414300/dolphins-expect-more-clarity-tagovailoa-mostert-later-week
  5. The ball he had bounce off of him was embarrassing. Give me Beasley in the slot please.
  6. Mostert was ripping us for 8 y/c just a few short weeks ago. Hopefully the Bills can keep their RB's in check this time.
  7. You're certainly 110% correct there. Davis is the biggest disappointment of this season IMO.
  8. The Bills (and the Bengals to an extent) were under severe mental stress this week. I would hardly call it the same thing as a bye.
  9. OK, so? That still shows Davis is meh when he's our #2 and their #3 has almost as many yards and has more catches.
  10. Not in the playoffs they didn't.
  11. Chase and Higgins are both over 1K yards and Boyd is less than 100 behind Davis, our #2.
  12. Neutral site is way overrated IMO. Especially if we're talking about playing KC, who's averaging an entire touchdown more on the road than at home. Having to play 1 less game on the road to the SB is huge.
  13. Where was it noted the Bills never wanted to make it up at a later date? It obviously was not going to happen that night. I thought it was soley the league's decision that it was never going to be resumed. Of course had you asked the Bills that night or even the next day, they probably would've said they don't want to play a game for the rest of the season. It just felt like to me the Bills were being penalized for circumstances that were beyond anyone's control.
  14. Only having to win 2 games instead of 3 is a big difference. Given that the Bills were the ones in the driver's seat for the #1 seed going into that game, I think the option of homefield or the bye should've been given to the Bills. The Bills controlled their own Destiny and have never lost since. But we didn't cancel the game, the league did. For us to have lost the #1 seed, we should've been made to forfeit. At least then it was the Bills' decision. For the league to both cancel the game and then give KC the bye is a foul, IMO.
  15. Nope, especially when they lost to the Bills. All they had to do was beat a non-playoff team who had a new QB and they get rewarded with a bye. Ridiculous.
  16. I understand there really was no 100% correct answer to this messy playoff seeding, but I don't like it. The Bills were in the driver's seat and were the only team that controlled their own destiny. Through no fault of the Bills, the league giftwraps KC the bye. That still doesn't sit well with me.
  17. I think it would be rough for the Bills to go back to that stadium again and I'm glad we aren't this season.
  18. See, it worked out for both of us, lol. Still think we got the better end though. Moss would not be playing at all here except maybe special teams...and not as a return man.
  19. Cincy has 5 players that have more catches than anyone on the Bills not named Diggs. Pretty much sums up what you're saying.
  20. Davis is the biggest disappointment of the season to me. Just think what a viable #2 means to this offense and what not having one has done to it. That's what was working for us the beginning of the year when the O looked utterly unstoppable. If teams start cheating back, start dinkin and dunkin and running until they cheat back up and then hit 'em deep again.
  21. Will be even harder to gameplan if receivers not named Diggs can make a DC have to worry about who's covering them. Smoke and Knox involved yesterday is a good sign, but Davis and McK do not scare me and likely don't any other team.
  22. D and receivers not named Diggs have to step up. If they insist on playing Davis, hope he finds his playoff switch from last season.
  23. Head to head though you like the Bills corners over Cincy's based on who they will be matching? Of course we have Diggs, but outside of him, do any of our receivers scare them? They've got Chase, Higgins, Boyd, Mixon, and even Hurst. All of those guys have caught more balls than any other receiver on the Bills not named Diggs.
  24. I can agree with that, but it's not like KC's pass rush is a bunch of push overs. I'd rather have their's than ours. They actually have 1 more sack than NE does. KC's defense has only generated 20 turnovers this year, which is good for us, but turnovers can be a result of so many different factors, it's hard to say that's an advantage, since you don't know when or where they will happen. What I see wrong with Cincy's D is almost like they let off the gas at times. They've had a tendency to let teams back into games, which is obviously problematic.
  25. Without the kick returns yesterday, that's a very different game since NE wouldn't have had to play the way they did later on. Here's hoping we get more consistent play on offense and defense.
