Florio: Brady to the Dolphins "Definitely on the Table"
Billz4ever replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
They could, but I don't think that ends well. Don't want a disgruntled starting QB. -

Whomever the Jets hire as OC may hint at who they make a run at for QB. I don't want to see Lamar in NY. Him paired with Breece Hall is not something I would look forward to facing twice a season. -

They better hurry up and offer him a contract then because from the outside looking in, it seems like he doesn't want to play for them any longer. -

Had a losing record in a terrible division. Can't say he really scares me anymore. Personally, I can't understand why he wants to keep playing, especially after this year. The guy has nothing left to prove and is set for life. Why risk an injury that could jeopardize his quality of life? I guess it's something us little folk will never understand. -
First-ever NFLPA "Players All Pro Team"

Yeah, there's no Bills on it, but can you really argue any Bill should've made it over anyone on the list? Looks pretty solid to me. -
OBJ was clearly in the wrong here but I don't understand why they had to deplane everyone else just to get him off. There's plenty of other examples where security escorts someone off who is being removed from the flight without anyone else having to get off. Just seems odd.

I am in fact and have also had the same injury he had, so I'm quite familiar with the recovery timetable and what he experienced. I'm sure his rehab was much more aggressive than what I went through, and every person is different but being back to some semblance of normal is one thing and being able to play a sport like football is something completely different. Do I think he can do it? Absolutely. But as he said in his presser yesterday, it's not up to him. The team trainers and doctors will make the right call if they feel he's ready to go. We aren't Miami. 😄

But they did get 5 turnovers and when you have backups at QB and RB, who aren't as talented as the starters, the offense is going to suffer. Not to mention, with Lamar out, you not only removed their starting QB, but also their best runner. And it wasn't just turnovers. Anthony Brown was under 50% completion and was sacked 4 times. I'm sure the Bills would love to play games where they won and led by at least 2 scores the entire game.
-
OK and? NE played us tougher than Baltimore played Cincy. The game was really never in doubt. The game was literally a two score lead or more the entire game.
-
The game was never really as close as the score shows. Cincy was up 24-7 at halftime. The Bills beat NE by 12 and that game was much more competitive than the Bengals-Ravens game.

Once we see him in full practice, that's when we'll know he may be getting close.

Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start

Marino? Seen him on the sidelines. -
I would argue the neck is even worse. The number of times a game players snap their heads around to look happens repeatedly and with the neck, with every tackle you're going to have that jarring effect. We're really never going to know approximately where abouts he is until we see him start to be a full participant in practice. If he's out of the no-contact jersey next week, that will tell us a lot.
-
True, but he still has to be able to effectively cover and take hits. Until we see him at practice taking contact drills, I think it's pretty safe to assume he's not playing until then. That's not happening at least until next week at the earliest I understand. We'll have to keep a close eye on practice next week to see if he's a full participant.

And baking their opponent on the visiting sideline in the September Miami sun. -
Unless Anthony Brown can transform into Lamar Jackson between now and then, I don't see them having much of a chance. Two picks and a 46 QB rating isn't going to get it done.
-
The Chargers always seem to find a way to screw things up though and are kinda like the Raiders this year in that regard. I'm actually surprised they made the playoffs. Chiefs already beat Jax this season too and Jax really had no answer for Mahomes, who hit 4 different receivers for TDs.
-
That's basically the opposite argument though. Bengals got hot at the right time last season. We'd be having to talk about how the Ravens were hot right now and they certainly aren't. They backed into the playoffs and Cincy beat them fairly easily last week.

Reports are he had surgery Monday but was out of practice today as most people would assume. Not looking good for Sunday. I don't know how effectively a RB can play with 1 hand in a cast anyway. Wouldn't have to worry about him catching the ball and can only really carry in one arm. Would be ripe for a turnover. -

Yep, the Bills beating themselves is the only way the Fish have a chance here. Bills are clearly the more talented. -

Not saying the fish won't be able to run because they certainly were able to last game, but if Mostert is a no-go, that's better for us. Wilson is a capable back, but not the same IMO.
