  1. I can explain. When it's tax payer funded, the price goes up 300 percent.
  2. *cough* Al Michaels
  3. Our WR1 and WR2 combined for 61 catches for 684 yards in the last 7 games of the season plus 2 playoff games. That's an average of about 3.5 catches and 38 yards per game from each of the two skill positions. Take away the Chargers game and our WR2 was almost completely non existent the second half of the season. Get Josh Some legitimate threats and good O-Line protection so we won't even need to worry about defense. We'll be dropping 35+ points per game.
  4. I'm in favor of reopening mental institutions in the US. Lot of people with mental health issues these days it seems. I'd rather see some of them get some help and treatment somewhere before they go off the deep end and commit acts of violence and spend life in prison.
  5. This is easy. List of QBs that have 3 or more wins vs. Pat Mahomes era Chiefs 1. Tom Brady 2. Joe Burrow 3. Josh Allen Brady is retired, Burrow has trouble staying healthy so next up has to be Josh Allen.
  6. I'm sure AI will fix that right up 🤣 We're two steps away from literally living in the movie Idiocracy.
  7. Raising our children to be decent human beings might help too... just a thought
  8. Aside from Brady, Brett Favre had statistically one of his best seasons at age 40.
  9. He already is. I mean who's the competetion? Pete Metzelaars?
  10. Learned from the master
  11. We'll be cycling back to cable being cheaper than streaming in a few years.
  12. Don't cave TUA, anything less than $70 mil/year is an insult to your talent.
  13. That reminds me, how is Mike White doing these days? 🤔🤣
  14. Hellman's missed a real opportunity to use Jerod Mayo as their spokesperson 😂
  15. Detroit certainly nailed their draft last year. Kincaid and Torrence were big for us this year and the best 1,2 picks since Josh Allen. Maybe we're trending in the right direction as far as the drafting players.
  16. Detroit trying real hard to Billsy this one away
  17. I feel like in today's NFL it's a mistake to invest too heavily in DL. Elite offenses can almost totally neutralize pass rush either through scheming and releasing the ball in under 2.5 seconds(Purdy, Burrow, Tua) or just having an elusive QB that can extend plays with their legs(Allen, Mahomes, Lamar). Look how our divisional rounds ended the last 2 years. Burrow carved us up like a surgeon last year. This year neither Allen or Mahomes were sacked as both QBs simply avoided any pressure either used their legs or in Mahome's case ripped off huge chunk plays. Good DL will manhandle average teams but when facing the top of the top, they become ineffective. The positions are still important moreso for the sake of run defense IMO but in the Bills case we have guys on the edge who like to over pursue the QB and often leave huge openings to the outside. Mahomes, Pacheco and Edwards-Helaire each had 20+ yd runs against us last week. If the Bills take DL too early in this next draft that would be a critical mistake IMO. Recent history has proven it doesn't matter how much you invest in those positions, their is huge diminishing returns when you face elite offenses in this league.
  18. There are two schools of thought on this Rooney Rule business. I personally agree that nepotism is a huge problem in the NFL coaching world but I would prefer teams just had a flat quota of qualified candidates that they must interview from outside the organization, not necessarily race based.
  19. Mike Florio and Chris Simms' assessment of Diggs.
  20. Why is Dak on the list and not Mahomes?
  21. While I don't disagree that Mahomes mentally is more steadfast than Allen. We all know winning breeds confidence and confidence elevates standard of play. What if it was Allen that was nurtured into a winning organization to begin and went to AFCCG his first season as starter? If Mahomes started out on a middling team with all new coaching staff and had a bumpy start the first year or two, who knows if his confidence level would have ever elevated to where it is now.
  22. TBD makes for good therapy after a tough loss. Appreciate everyone here.
