    The Bengals won today by (nearly, similarly) copying my defensive gameplan listed above. Instead of 2 DL and dropping 9 back, the Bengals employed 3 DL and dropped 8 back, with (I believe) the occasional 9th defender behind the LB POA. It held the Chiefs to 3 points in the second half. .

    Our pass rushers were around Mahomes constantly. They just couldnt bring him down.

    I dont agree that Mahomes is more refined in the passing game. Mahomes is in a system that gets WR's wide open.

    Not sure i'd call him inexperienced. He will be entering his 5th season in the NFL. Brady had 3 Super Bowl rings by this point.

    Yes. To me, he is THE choice. Four top 12 offenses despite having Nick Foles, Alex Smith, and Carson Wentz as his QB's.

And I stand by what I said in this thread. But since the comments were removed, I assume the mod doesn't want me to repeat my thoughts. So I wont.

    Again, that is NOT what happened. He was fired due to a power struggle between him and Howie Roseman. It was seen as a surprise firing. You realize that Pederson went to THREE playoff games, in two separate years, AFTER the Super Bowl year... right? He had 1 bad year.
