  1. Too much speed. Their WR’s reach the apex of their routes in 2 seconds.
  2. Miami is so freaking fast on offense. We just can’t get to him fast enough.
  3. Was that Rapp who missed the tackle? Read not-so-great things about Rapp this week from Rams fans.
  4. Dolphins are missing 3 starters today. No excuses.
  5. Yeah, barring injury, the Bills are done with Elam. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to trade for a player that can’t even get a jersey on game day. What would he possibly be worth?
  6. I too did some research on Rapp this week. I mostly read the opinions that Rams fans posted when the team didn’t keep him. The overall vibe was that Rams fans were happy he was gone. They said he is slow and coverage is not his front suit. Said he should be more of a LB, which is actually how the Bills have used him thus far (Big Nickel). Some said he was frustrating because he could have a great quarter, followed by a terrible quarter. They felt he was too inconsistent. However, we have something that his previous team didn’t. McDermott. Who tends to turn DB’s into very good players. Look at the drop-off Wallace has had since leaving. Anywho, if anyone can harness Rapp’s tools, it’s McDermott.
  7. I'll have what Josh is cooking up.
  8. McDermott just recently said that Tre White is finally coming back to form. That's nearly 2 years after his acl injury. It's possible that Von is not back to his normal self until next season.
  9. Agree completely. This feels like a "must win" even though its technically not.
  10. We really need to win this game. I can’t take listening to the Dolphins ball washing (everywhere) much longer.
  11. It’s old enough to get divorced. Perhaps the best Buffalo Bill of all time.
  12. Just FYI - DVOA never considers the previous season. They use DAVE Metrics prior to week 5 stats. As Gunner said, DVOA is not representative of a true league wide metric until week 6 at least as DVOA considers 50% of DAVE even at midseason and does not stop using DAVE until after week 13.
  13. Eh, he is an incredibly poor tackler too...
  14. Hamlin is simply not a great player. I think that fact may have gotten lost in the fray because we were (rightfully so) worried for his life and well being. I went into training camp thinking he may be a cut candidate.
  15. Yes but he's coming off of his best game. He played well last Sunday.
  16. Correct. DVOA doesn’t even adjust for opponents until after Week 4.
  17. Is it? I disagree. Forget injury for a moment. Think about freshness alone. You don’t see the benefit of our 34 year old pass rusher having less wear and tear from the season on him when he enters the playoffs?
  18. There are no must win games this early in the season, but this game is extremely important. Going down 0-2 in the division and 1-2 in the conference and Miami going to 4-0 with two cupcake teams coming up on their schedule is not a great scenario. I really think we need this W.
  19. Unless something changes with our defensive performance, I don’t see any reason to rush him back. I’m perfectly content with keeping him on PUP until week 8. Starting the 21 day window then and making him active with 4 or so weeks left in the season. We need him for the playoff run.
  20. Bruce Smith called it “embarrassing”. I don’t personally agree but just letting you know there was at least 1 other alumnae that didn’t like it.
  21. That graph makes little sense. How does one have negative seperation? And why are the worst performing CB’s to the axis of the negative separation? Is 0 the mean and separation is plotted at either less than or greater than the mean?
  22. I was thinking just "Bernard" would do.
