How do you hold the ball that long on two 4th downs in a row? Just throw it up to Metcalf and give him a jump ball at least.

I will never understand how QB’s take sacks on 4th down. Just throw it into double coverage if you have to. Do anything except take a sack.

I recently saw someone write that Burrow is Kirk Cousins with a better overall team around him and I haven’t gotten it out of my mind since. I find it very accurate.

In my opinion it’s a bad look for McBeane either way. It’s either: 1) The Bills misjudged McDuffies skills (he is playing like one of the best CB’s in the NFL right now) because of his size. OR 2) The Bills liked him but allowed KC to outmaneuver them. There is no way to make the situation look good. Personally, I *hope* it’s number 2. Mainly because I am not a fan of teams who judge players by their physical traits rather than their football ability.

McCaffrey is a cheat code I remember when the Bills were rumored in that trade cycle. Great move by SF.

Yeah i’m not sure I understand why people think he was good as a rookie. He gave up a reception 76% of the time he was targeted last season. To put that into perspective, Tre White, coming off of an ACL injury and a year off football, was at 53%.

I wouldn’t assume Williams is the starter. I think it will be a split role. The real problem is the secondary. It’s in shambles. Not just due to injury. But also age.

Kincaid has the highest catch % of any player in the NFL right now. Just not many targets.

Jones was literally playing the best DT ball of anyone in the league.

This is just my personal preference. Allen doesn't "need" this to be good (he is already great), I just kinda personally wish he had more of it. I was watching an interview with Brady recently, and he talked about how he doesn't understand players now. They hug after the game, and exchange jerseys, and are very friendly with the opponent. He said in the interview that he doesnt understand how these current players can go from being at war with the other team during the game to being friendly after. He was essentially calling todays players out for not having the fire he and players from the 70's, 80's and 90's had. I remember Fitzpatrick being upset that Brady wouldn't shake his hand after some games - just ran to the locker room. But that's who Brady is. He saw each game as a war and he was not interested in making friendly with the opponent afterward. Quite frankly, the players being all friendly with one another on other teams is something that has never sat well with me either. I understand why they do it - I just don't love it. I hated Brady for those 18 years, but I respect him now, and as much as I love Josh (and I really do), I can't help but wish he had a bit of that a-hole in him. .

Any d-line that can wreak havoc on an o-line is a bad matchup for any team.

I love Josh. He is by far my favorite player. But I do wish he had a bit more fire on the sideline. I wish we saw him doing what Brady did for 20 years and pumping up his teammates on the sideline and getting on people for making mistakes and showing strong leadership. It seems that is more of Diggs role on this team.

I think Casey Heyward is still available and he actually played well last year.

Our two most impactful defensive players this season. Gone. Hard to imagine a worst case scenario on defense.

Allen has won 2 of his last 3 games against Mahomes. And in the one game he lost, he left the field with the lead (and only 13 seconds left).

Another interesting note that Jeremy White made is that Dawson Knox's YPC has been steadily going down each year of his career. 14, 12, 12, 11, and this year it's 7.

I have a feeling that part of that is because teams know they can leave an individual pass rusher on Spencer and still win, whereas on the left side they may need to send an extra rusher, so the back is instinctively floating left to pick up any free runners.
