  1. It piqued my attention too when I saw it. It was several years ago. I think he may have stopped working for them, because this is the last time I see his analysis on PFF: https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-wilcots-the-nfls-most-underappreciated-defensive-players .
  2. I think you may have a misunderstanding of how PFF grades. If this were the case, NFL and College teams wouldn't be paying PFF 6+ figures every year for their data. The grading is not one-and-done. It is first graded by an analyst, then it gets sent for review by a more knowledgeable analyst, and then it goes for final review by a senior analyst (I remember reading that Solomon Wilcots was a senior analyst).
  3. I would. I certainly would not trust it to be 100% accurate, but as a comparison tool absolutely. PFF employees many former NFL player and executives.
  4. Sure. But as long as the data uses the same methodology for all QB's, you can still make accurate comparisons. This is because the comparisons would be based on a standardized process, which is essential for understanding relative differences or similarities. I submitted this question to them and will report back when I hear. If I were to guess i'd say PFF, simply because of their connection PFF.
  5. 1,650+ years is how long it was Israeli/Jewish land until it was forcefully occupied by Palestinian ancestors. In my opinion that matters, because it gives context to the current situation. Context is something that is sorely lacking in numerous facets of todays society. It is disingenuous for people to state that Palestinians have been occupied when Israel has been stating for centuries “they occupied us!”
  6. Historically speaking, the ancestors of Palestinians invaded and occupied Jewish land - not the other way around. Dating back to 1,000 BC Jerusalem and Judah had been inhabited by the Jews. As far back as our current understanding of history exists, it has been Israeli and or Jewish land. It wasn’t until 650 or so AD (1,650 years later) that the Muslim Caliphate left the Arab Peninsula to conquer the Byzantine empire and forcefully take over large areas of land by force, including Jerusalem and modern day Israel. .
  7. Maybe Allen saw this thread? 😂
  8. Pardon my language but holy crap! That Patriots injury list is absurd.
  9. This is a very complex issue that dates back literally 1,300 years ago. Best not to take a side based on the account of a 10 minute YouTube video.
  10. I saw this today and couldn’t help but laugh. There is a bit of truth to it. Still, no other QB id rather have. Ride or die with Josh!
  11. Allen is in his 6th season. In Cams 6th season he was already toast. He had 19 TD’s and 14 INT’s that season. Allen is so superior to Cam that i’ve never understood the comparison. .
  12. I think this may impact many of ours (including myself) view on Allen always targeting Diggs. When plays break down, Allen is able to keep them alive and he often hits Diggs. I doubt this is counted as a "first read", even though Diggs may have been the first read originally.
  13. Burrow is 12th in 1st read %. And 12th in checkdown % too.
  14. It means the QB throws to his read that % of dropbacks.
  15. Yes. He has been very good against the run as well.
  16. I'm assuming the first WR the QB focuses on after the snap. That's a fairly clear indicator. However, this is one of several questions I have asked them for clarification on.
  17. No this is the NFL Data Suite by Scott Barrett (creator of xFP metric that ESPN uses) and Brett Whitefield (former PFF). It's in Beta right now. I think what it really does is show that the entire NFL designs plays to go to the first target. We are not alone.
  18. 1) Allen goes to his first read only 55% of the time. That is 3rd lowest in the NFL. Mahomes throws to his first read 60% of the time. Tua? 74% of the time! 2) Diggs is 11th in the NFL in first read targets. 3) Allen is #9 in the NFL in checkdown %. He is definitely taking what the defense is giving him. 4) Knox has a very low catch rate of only 58%. Kincaid is over 90%. 5) Over the last three seasons, Josh Allen has ran an average of 43 times through Week 6. He has ran 22 times this season. 6) Cook has a significantly higher YPC on man/gap runs than zone. 7) Epenesa was the highest rated defensive player on Sunday. Poyer was rated highly as well. 8 ) I'm consistently shocked at the number of posters who criticize Allen. This may be the best season of his career thus far. 9) Allen is #1 in the NFL in sacks avoided. 10) The defense is 4th in the NFL in percentage of dropbacks that we pressure the opposing teams QB.
  19. This is where I am at. Two number ones is the new black.
  20. I simply couldn't imagine how boring any forum would be if everyone was positive. Poster A - The Bills are great! Poster B - They sure are buddy! Poster C - I concur with your thoughts pals! Poster A - Isn't Dorsey swell? Poster C- He sure does seem like a cool guy! Poster B - I just got a great idea. Let's start a fundraiser to send him some chicken wings for lunch tomorrow! Poster A - Great idea buddy! Poster C - Great idea pal! Woof.
  21. I thought Sunday was Po's best game this year.
  22. I don't think it's possible for me to love Josh Allen any more than I do. He is everything I was waiting for in a QB since Kelly retired.
  23. We were absolutely the best team in the NFL during the 2021 playoffs. We were clicking on all cylinders and I will forever believe that 13 seconds stole a Lombardi trophy from this city.
