  1. You just argue to argue. Pretty hilarious.
  2. How am I stuck in anything dude? I'm posting current polls. I honestly don't care about the elections in Kansas or Alaska. Guess we will see if voters really care that much when push comes to shove. You know as well as I do, people will complain but yet not vote when it comes down to it.
  3. Cool. The senate is a projected "toss up" and the House is going to go red. So.....
  4. LOL, you said 30% are Republican. I said it's actually that way for both sides.... you get triggered and have to argue. Cracks me up. Gallop's result on the subject of trending Ind. voters.
  5. Only SEC fans... mainly Alabama fans... have a real issue with an expanded playoffs and it's hilarious. The thought that the Big XII or even the PAC 12 can't hang with other conferences is just flat out incorrect. It's a crock of sh*t actually to think no one can hang with the mighty SEC. Why have NCAA basketball tournaments? And what other conferences are better than the Big XII as a whole? ACC? No. Big 10? No. Pac-12 No. SEC? Top 2 teams? Yes. At times conferences have a bad run, like the Pac-12 is currently having... but most come around. You, as a Bama fan, should know that. Bama went a good decade (like 1997-2007) just sucking ass. The one good year you had, you cheated and got caught. But lets look at the 2021-22 post season.... NY6 Bowls (Big XII, not counting CFP games) #9 Oklahoma State 37 #5 Notre Dame 35 #7 Baylor 21 #9 Ole Miss 7 SEC v Big XII (in other bowls) Texas Tech 34 Miss Stat 7 Kansas State 42 LSU 20 SEC vs Everyone else Army 24 Missouri 22 UCF 29 Florida 17 Houston 17 Auburn 13 Purdue 48 Tennessee 45 S. Carolina 38 N. Carolina 21 Arkansas 24 Penn State 10 Kentucky 20 Iowa 17 Then the playoffs of course, which again... you have Alabama and UGA. Two best teams in the country in... yes.. the best conference. The SEC had a LOSING record in the Bowl games last year vs the weaker conferences. But stop with the BS that the Big XII or (or anyone else really) are pathetic compared to the mighty SEC. It's just a moronic statement. Maybe you don't want it to be expanded because your mighty Alabama Crimson Tide might have a more difficult time playing for the ship? The ones against it are the ones who just want their team in the top 4 every year, they're afraid of getting knocked off by a team who might pull together a better game plan. I only see Bama fans hate the idea of expansion. I'm glad we are doing it. A team like Oklahoma State or Baylor last season (who had arguably the two best defenses in college football) could have surprised anyone in the top 4.
  6. If you feel that way, cool. Doesn't change the fact of what I posted is 100% accurate.
  7. lol, the parties are split in half when it comes to being one side of the isle or the other. Hell, many registered democrats in my states are only registered as such due to local sheriff elections. 27% GOP 27% Democrat 43% Independent And in regards to Ind. voters, 46% lean GOP compared to 45% Dem... That trend is increasing red all the time.
  8. Prayers! lol
  9. If I lived in NY State or Boston, etc..... this would be a no-brainer. But, I live in Southern Oklahoma (90 minutes between OKC and Dallas) and Bill simply never comes to these areas. There are certain "concerts" or people who come around every year... like Dave Matthews Band. He's ALWAYS in Dallas the same time every year.
  10. No one would dispute that. 11 of the last 16 "championships" (I say it that way, because they are mythical) have come out of the SEC. There was a lot more parity in college football when Texas won the title vs USC. That said, no one will convince me that Oklahoma State wasn't the best team in 2011.
  11. I usually go to bed at 9-10 p.m., so I'd be killing myself staying up till 1-2 a.m. watching a replay.
  12. 100% agree. Daredevil, especially when they introduced Frank Castle, was E-P-I-C. Seeing Matt Murdock in Spiderman this past year made me so damn happy.
  13. (this is reminding me of the part in the movie "Fever Pitch" where Jimmy Fallon went to the "Great Gatsby" party and missed the BoSox/Yankees game)
  14. His shows usually go for 1 1/2 hours... so I'm going to assume I'll be out my 10 CST. That'll be towards the tail end of the game. 7:20 CST game start + 3 hours 15 minutes = 10:30 CST (approx) 8:00 CST concert start + 2 hours = 10 CST I'm bad about "record it and watch it later" when I know the outcome has been decided already. I'll probably watch the first of the game and hope I can catch the end of the game.
  15. Wings at BWW in Sherman, Texas are $14 for 10. And they are trash. I actually ordered wings from Chili's in Ada, Oklahoma a few months ago and almost threw up. Just can't get good wings around here.
  16. Bill Burr is one of my all-time favorite comedians... and he rarely comes down to Texas, let alone anywhere in Oklahoma. Well, his tickets for the fall went on sale earlier in the year and I saw it: TULSA! I quickly got seats about 30 rows from the stage, took off work the next day. Fast forward a few months later, NFL season schedule comes out. Bills open at LA on September 8th, 7:20 CST. Just 40 minutes before Burr takes stage in Tulsa. Adding to it, his concerts (like most now) require you to put your phone inside a bag where you can't access it for the show. While I know seeing Burr is a once-in-a-lifetime thing, I'm going to be freakin' out wondering what's going on with the game. Not sure if I'll even be able to enjoy the show! #firstworldproblems
  17. Gundy let off the gas when we were up 55-15. I left the stadium (have a 3 hour drive home, 5:30 a.m. wake up). He started rotating 12 at DL and put in most of the 2nd string secondary.... let CMU score 22 in the 4th. Otherwise, it should have been 62-22 or something.
  18. Great pick. I left the game when it was 55-15 (I had to drive 3 hours home). OSU's offense seems up to par from previous seasons... 2nd and 3rd team defense needs to get a LOT better. Not the same defense from last year. Of course, last year after game one (vs Tulsa) I was questioning if my Pokes would win 6 games. Looking back, we should have went undefeated and played in the CFP.
  19. It's Sarah Palin? That's what happened.
  20. Weird, because the GOP is predicted (by every news outlet) to win both the House and Senate. State gov. are projected to be around 50-50.
  21. Pretty sure most of what you just posted are myths. My state is VERY conservative and if a woman is in danger, there are health issues, baby would not survive, etc... terminating that pregnancy is still allowed.
  22. The only arguments from the left on abortion: 1. What about rape and *****? 2. Are you going to foster a kid?
  23. Dude, I'll take OU +32 for my house, my car(s), all my assets, my dad's home and ranch, his cars, his dental practice, my fiancé's house, my daughters car... etc, etc...
  24. This thread takes more turns than Lombard Street in San Fran....
