The Vikings have the 4th quarter yips more than any team I’ve ever seen. Sure, we’ve had some heartbreakers but it’s almost like they’d be better off making sure they’re losing going into the 4th.

With everything going on in this country, I will vote for the candidate who will repeal the law that doesn’t allow NFL football on Saturdays when college football on. I am able to watch both. And I invite it. Anyone know how to start a lobby?

My wife decided to really learn football this year. She’s a Notre Dame alum so she watches the Irish and Bills but just knew TDs were good. She now knows the difference between a free safety and a strong safety; can call intentional grounding a mile away, and knows was a 12 formation is. We were watching an NFC game as those are the ones I can pause and show her things she has questions on. During one of them she said “wait; how is that not a catch?” I told her I’ve been watching football closely for 43 years (yes, I started watching in the delivery room), and that is a question I simply can’t answer. So, while the fumble through the EZ is a bad rule, the definition of a catch is far far worse.

Also curious about the dolphins rallying cry. If an actual dolphin were ever “fins up,” wouldn’t it be dead?

There’s no way there is an NFL script. Because if someone said “let’s have a game where the Levis led Titans are down by 14 with 3 minutes left … but hear me out…. they win” he’d be laughed out of the room. What a weekend!

I turned the dolphins game on with the score 13-10 TN. Within about 2 minutes, my hopes were crushed. At least it was quick. Trying to field that punt should result in criminal charges.
