  1. Fact is, if she had a penis we wouldn't be talking about the fact that her dozens of punches were "mainly harmless". You're kidding yourself if you say this isn't about gender. If some 5'5 150 pound guy was doing what she was and sone 6'6 250lb guy ended his idiocy with one punch we'd either be giving the big guy kudos or more likely not talking about this at all.
  2. Chad Henne didn't want to break out his floatees.

  4. This is my first post on the iPad 2. Anyone else get one? My review: if you have the original iPad, hold out for the iPad 3. Not enough changed to make it worth getting this one. If you don't have an iPad and you've been considering a "tablet type computer" jump on this. If you're Chef Jim or DC Tom and you just opened this post to ask "What's an iPad" or some other snarky remark, well, hello I love the device for one reason.. I have VPN setup at home for my work PC. I have my Verizon iPhone 4 with hotspot capability which I always have with me. So, i have the wifi iPad 2 which connects to my home laptop which is always connected to work, and use an app called iTeleport to connect to said laptop which gives me constant iPad access to work. (you might ask why not just teleport directly into my work PC, well, I work for a company who allows no such thing. Anyway, once again apple made something that "just works". I'm stunned that motorola priced the xoom at $800. Way to price yourself out of contention. The girlfriend and I watched Jobs' keynote about the iPad 2 on the iPad 2 where he claims a revolutionary redesign; and in her words "it's just a little thinner and a different color". In other words, like I said before if you have the iPad 1 hold off, but otherwise, if you have a bit of disposable income, this thing is plenty cool... Regardless if you can use it for work.
  5. Glad I always just click on the first link in a post... Aljazeera? WTF.

  7. I have 400 monthly minutes. I use 100 at most. I talk to people ALL day at work. First, I don't have time to make a bunch of personal calls and second, when I'm done with work, I just don't want to talk on the phone. I use hundreds of text messages. They are to the point, cut out all the bulls#it of a normal conversation, and you don't have to reply til you want to. That probably makes me sound like an ass, but I've never argued that point.
  8. I'm a gadget nerd. Have been through 30+ phones, literally. Have had 3 android phones. NONE compare to the iPhone. I know there are those that will hate anything apple, but theres a reason EVERY new phone is compared to the iPhone.
  9. You'll love it (typing this reply on mine). If you're new to the iPhone and have any questions, let me know.
  10. I thought someone with your incredible brain power would have picked up the sarcasm in my initial statement. But alas, you were likely too busy swimming in your cash to pick up that detail.
  11. Pot is harmless. This is THE single biggest douchebag post I've EVER read on TBD. And I have posted Thousands of my own, and ready thousands more.
  12. Really? My workplace must be considered uber conservative!
  13. Oh Boy! One of Chef Jim's obligatory "Someone mentioned something about current pop culture so I have to comment about how I have no idea what it is!" Yawn.
  14. When you Google "Charlie Sheen is", the top 4 suggestions from Google are: "Charlie Sheen is too damn high" "Charlie Sheen is dead" "Charlie Sheen is my hero" "Charlie Sheen is a loser"
  15. In the insurance world, when any emergency vehicle gets into an accident with their lights/sirens on, it is nearly inpossible to put ANY fault on them. They have to show "gross negligence". Try proving that when they have they sirens and lights on.
  16. Just got confirmation that my $60 in gift cards were shipped today, roughly 14 hours after I won them. People are morons. You buy 100 bids for $60, you go in with no strategy and blow them all in 10 minutes. Idiots are what make this site great though, as you can literally watch a person spend all $60 worth of bids in 5 minutes. You wait for them to leave and then bid. For $.60 a bid. To potentially win a decent item, and maybe something much nicer. The gambler in me likes it. The consumer in me loves it.
  17. Do you use bid-o-matic at all? seems like a waste...
  18. I just joined tonight. The best part about this site is the people who think it's a "scam". Those are the folks who make it fairly easy to win. Read about the site first! After that, realize the money is made in the non-iPad, non-macbook items. I paid $60 to join (well, to get your first 100 bids). So far, I won $50 gift card to JCPenny and $10 Gift card to Target and paid $6 shipping for all three. Best part is, each came with 15 extra bids "worth" $9. So, technically, I'm up a few bucks and have more bids. I have now tried 6 times to explain it to my girlfriend who graduated cum laude from U of A, and she doesn't get it, so don't just dive in. But once you realize that a $34.91 bid on an ipad means 3,491 bids have been placed, but $.01 on a $25 gift card means only one other schlep is sitting there looking at it you're good. I was at first annoyed that you can only win 3 items in a day and 8 in a month, but I get why, and now I actually appreciate it.
  19. Key word: alleged.
