  1. I hate this thread so hard.
  2. Win this Super Bowl and you can replace the entire team with 53 shopping carts, each with an annoying wheel that sticks and makes a loud sound as you shop.
  3. Daboll, and to me it’s not close. McD showed real leadership after Damar’s injury, and gets all the credit for that. But straight football talk? Daboll inherited a roster with next to nothing on paper and is in the divisional round. McD had a pro bowl roster and the team is where they should be right now.
  4. Minor point, but you can’t keep changing the “opening line” in the title. The opening line is just that - what it opened at. It opened, I believe , at Bills -3, and it is now up to 4.5 to 5.5, depending on which sports book.
  5. Nope, you’re just like me and finally used to a team that is competent. So, stopping a team on third down just seems like the thing they should do every time. And therefore when they don’t stop them (which happens to every team and every defense) it really stands out in our minds.
  6. The fact that it’s 2023 and we’re still using the “ref stares at clock then down to the ball” is insane. I mean I’ve been asking for a chip in the ball (which there already is one for punts) to prove line to gain, and I understand you still need to see where his knee was, but if you remove the variable of where the ball is you only need to focus on his knee. For example, replay of a QB sneak, the screen indicates exactly when the ball passed the line to gain, so the video pauses so the ref can search for a kneecap touching ground. But I digress… The problem you outline is levels of magnitude easier to solve for, yet here we are, with 70 year old men staring at a clock then shifting their view to the ball. Awful.
  7. That was some grade F clock management at the end. Wow
  8. McDaniel blaming the refs: (he said I don’t know if it was the officials or coaching. It was Coaching, you weirdo). https://www.instagram.com/p/CndFlgrpXJw/?igshid=YWJhMjlhZTc=
  9. Bengals fans: only three?? Against this team?? We’re doomed. Or is it honestly only us?
  10. Nice of the Ravens defense to keep the offense nice and rested.
  11. It’s locked and @BuffaloBillis taking his 15 minute break.
  12. Hasn’t @Simonworked hard enough today? JFC…
  13. from the Vikings message board: “So, can we finally come to a consensus that the 2022 Vikings were frauds?” https://purplepainforums.com/thread/6609/weekend-giants-vikes-support-group?page=72
  14. Maybe everyone just sucks.
  15. That drop by slayton was brutal. But that RTP call is inexcusable. What the hell was he supposed to do? Refs are trash
  16. 94 for the Vikings just got dominated by Barkley.
  17. Mental toughness is what all of us had today being forced to watch that. The Bills looked mentally scrambled.
  18. Giants Bills Super Bowl. What a way to come full circle that would be. 😅
  19. Yay! The Vikings suck at tackling too!
  20. I tend to measure my feelings on Sunday afternoon on a scale of miserable to annoyed. Makes me question this hobby. I ended today slightly annoyed. Had we LOST? My god. I wasn’t mentally prepared for that.
  21. We’re finally good enough to not just be happy with just winning games we should have dominated. Yeah yeah, a win’s a win, but we’re not that team from 2017 where we all cried over backing into the playoffs. Reviews of games now must include the bad - and despite 34 points, this game was mainly bad. And as a reminder, their starting QB was Skylar ***** Thompson.
