Here’s what I’ve learned: just pay everything in bonus and have infinity salary cap.

You’re very welcome.

Quite like the time he damn near killed Dane Jackson with his infamous “jump on the pile” tackle strategy? I promise you I hated his overpursuing ass - and was vocal about it - during the season. So weirdos, at least speaking for myself, were here all along.

Can’t wait for the 30 for 30.

Bears instantly jumped to top 5 in “jumping on the pile after the whistle blew on the tackle.” Not sure if that’s calculated in playoff tiebreakers.

I’m admittedly not a big college football guy, but did I miss a generational QB coming up in this draft? -

Leslie Frazier "taking a year off from coaching" per Bills PR
stevestojan replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
I watched it. And the Bills weren’t in it. And part of that is because of Leslie. Watching other teams get burned by Mahomes won’t ease the pain of watching Leslie line up his entire secondary 12 yards off the line on 3rd and short, in the playoffs. -

Call me naive, but those two were so bad it deserves firing. This organization isn’t the 2000s Bills. We shouldn’t be happy with winning seasons. They built a team on paper that should go 13-4 or 12-5. The talent alone gets you that. It’s something we haven’t had in a while. What gets you to the next step (a Super Bowl) is all the other stuff, including coaching. Frazier might have been a victim of the teams success, but either way he failed at his job in the most important times. -

Exactly. Lots of people seem to be missing this. -

No one. Frazier was fired. The bills were kind enough to let him go out on his own weird terms. His contract was up today, and shockingly no one wanted him as a HC. The DC job is open. -

Timing is actually right on point as Fraziers contract expired tomorrow. He was fired. -

He won’t be back here in a year; at least I don’t think. He said he’s taking a year off football. The bills didn’t say a spot would be waiting for him. This is a save face situation. -

Oh happy ***** day! Seems like a “quit before I get fired” routine, but either way, good riddance. -
Greatest Individual Season in Buffalo History
stevestojan replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hasek. Damn near an individual accomplishment. And something we will likely never see again in the nets. Not saying the man acquitted of double murder wasn’t a great football player. But I can’t put any player above a position that has so much individual pressure. Hasek is top 3 goalie of all time. And I’m only half kidding when I say John Tavares should be considered in top 10 if we’re OK including all Buffalo teams. Completely dominate in his field. -
Exactly. I moved out of Buffalo 20 years ago. I’ve lived in 7 different cities (for work) since then. Every time I go back to Buffalo, I love it. But I love it because it’s still “home” for me, the people are great and the food is “Buffalo great” (let’s be honest, we have the best Pizza - and one of the places I’ve lived was Hoboken, so I had NYC pizza regularly) but WNY doesn’t have truly excellent cuisine, with few exceptions. I love Buffalo for those reasons. But I go home once a year - for thanksgiving week. And every time I’m reminded of yes the cold, snow, and slush. And none of those bother me too much. Why I’ll never be able to move back is the gray. The gloom. That week in thanksgiving puts me in a funk as the overcast gloomy gray kills me. And that lasts for 75% of the time from early October to march-ish. That said, I’m 43, married, and don’t have tens of millions of dollars. If i was 31 with more money than most and I had no real connection to Buffalo, I’d be calling the Raiders, the Dolphins, the Rams, the Chargers, the 9ers (I was in SF two weeks ago, believe me, it’s not all the 10 blocks of the Tenderloin district that they always show on tv), hell, even the Broncos. He’s still young and despite being married to a monster, has to be considering where we really wants to live and the lifestyle those areas bring.

@Deadstrokeyou used the “eye roll” emoji. Can you explain why? This is a perfectly reasonable post. -
