That snow storm was a snow storm of a life time affecting a lot of vital services employees in a lot of communities. Dome or No dome, that game would not have been played as people were overly tired from snow related services/dutys. People needed rest. You would not have had enough cops directing traffic etc....

I don't wonder at all. After the bad press Delaware North got for the large property tax break they recently got, I think any stadium talk by them is to try and save face, make them seem community minded.

And new Maintence building. There is a lot of things you can't see as a example alot of new sewer pipes were installed. As you pointed out the locker room were not just renovated but expanded. There was even a remolding of the RV lot restrooms and upgrading of the tall parking lot light poles. Small items but they all add up. Government $$$$ were used in the renovations so that means union wages were paid increasing the cost. There will be move work done this year for example paving of lot 2 (Rv bus) lot, installation of hand rails in the stands, I believe one seat in each row will have to be removed just to name a couple more improvements.

Thank You to all who tailgated in Hammer's Lot this year. It was my pleasure meeting and conversing with everyone. And while I'm not perfect I try my best to take care of my tailgaters with 6 restrooms with two for Womens Use Only, Cleaning of the lot while You are in the game. After last years soaking rain, I invested over $6,000 in removal of soil, installing road fabric, and leveling of aprox. 125 tons of fill. Let it rain! There will be more improvements this coming year. As I have always said, I may own the land, but it is YOU the tailgater that sets the atmosphere of the day in Hammer's Lot. Thank You once again.
