  1. Surely you take a Safety at this point?
  2. I'll retract my statement! So pleased for Daboll.
  3. Just for the Packers to win at the death. 😁
  4. We lost to Lawrence last year. And that was with a fitter team than we have today.
  5. Matt Breida is looking like a compotent running back.
  6. I'd rather not see him do it!
  7. Oliver and Davis are active, but I do have concerns about today. Then again, I have concerns about every game!
  8. Davis being up to 100% will be key. Hopefully the last two weeks have easd him back into it.
  9. But what people are saying is Tua should have been sent for a MRI on his back considering the signs on the field; not sent back into the game.
  10. Whilst overlooking the clock ticking down.
  11. What a play!
  12. Though the point of the protocol is to protect the player from both themselves and the franchise. There is an understanding that the player may want to re-enter the game, and value it over his health. There is an understanding a franchise may want a player to re-enter the game, and value it over their health, especially if they're under pressure. The protocol is supposed to protect from this. It's farcical that Tua claimed to have a back injury yet no one checked his back.
  13. Back injuries can cause paralysis. Surely a complaint of a back injury which causes the player to stumble should be assessed and, if the stadium doesn’t have the facilities to do this, then he should be withdrawn from the game abd taken to the nearest hospital or medical centre for this to happen? Not have a response of “well, we can say it’s not his brain so it’s fine”? Honestly, I’d be as angry about this if it was any other team who acted this way, including the Bills. Or if we had made one less blunder and won the game. This isn’t about winning or losing - this is about player safety and the clear lack of care they have in Miami.
  14. There's no point trading a 1st for a RB is our O Line isn't going to give him space to run into. Singletary and, especially, Moss do a fine job running into opposition players as it is.
  15. Because we're not allowed nice things so, naturally, if things don't quite go as planned (like injuries or unexpected facing a rookie QB who looked like he might have something about him) we push the panic button and assume we're doomed.
  16. Same for me; was wondering what was going on! ETA - It's gone now. Perhaps because I opened a thread?
  17. I didn't think he was absolutely terrible, but a nimble QB is needed behind that O Line rather than a pocket passer. Starting quarterback? Probably not. Worse than Wilson and Ryan? On Thursday's showing - no.
  18. In fairness to Mitch, when he did let a throw rip, the receiver ended up out of bounds.
  19. I was going off a British site so had to convert the dates from Friday morning to Thursday as it is! 10/13/22: Commanders at Bears 10/20/22: Saints at Cardinals 10/27/22: Ravens at Buccaneers 11/03/22: Eagles at Texans 11/10/22: Falcons at Panthers 11/17/22: Titans at Packers 11/24/22: Patriots at Vikings (do they have the Thanksgiving evening game?) 12/01/22: Bills at Patriots 12/08/22: Raiders at Rams 12/15/22: 49ers at Seahawks 12/22/22: Jaguars at Jets 12/29/22: Cowboys at Titans Better? 😁
  20. Though the offense did turn the ball over four (?) times against the Rams. Astonishing we did that and won so easily, really.
  21. I can't wait to see our offense in good weather again - two weeks in adverse conditions obviously affected everyone. With the expectation that McKenzie will clear concussion protocol, the only main man missing on that side of the ball (with no offence to Crowder or Kumerow) is Knox.
  22. Feel a bit sorry for Mitch; he played better on Sunday than either Wilson or Ryan did yesterday (an they haven't been much better across the season) yet he was pulled whilst those two were allowed to continue stinking the place out.
  23. Just looking at the Thursday night games moving forward: 13/10/22: Commanders at Bears 20/10/22: Saints at Cardinals 27/10/22: Ravens at Buccaneers 03/11/22: Eagles at Texans 10/11/22: Falcons at Panthers 17/11/22: Titans at Packers 24/11/22: Patriots at Vikings (do they have the Thanksgiving evening game?) 01/12/22: Bills at Patriots 08/12/22: Raiders at Rams 15/12/22: 49ers at Seahawks 22/12/22: Jaguars at Jets 29/12/22: Cowboys at Titans Not the best of match ups, to be honest. Some of them might be half decent, but they're more in the latter half of the run. Any game would have to go some way to out-bore yesterday's game, though.
  24. But is that his fault or is that down to how Dorsey is using him? I don't think Knox is regressing one bit but we're not utilising him as much as a receiver for whatever reason; perhaps because of the shakiness of our O Line we feel we get more from him, for the team, as a blocker?
  25. Well, Pickett will get to face a beaten up defence. We'll be leaning a lot on Von Miller and Matt Milano. Hate Knox being missing too; time to step up, Morris. Better for that to be the injury listing for this week than next week, I suppose. I wonder if the trip to Arrowhead is playing a part in the decisions being made?
